    • A dispense module for both carbonated and non-carbonated beverages is connected to a postmix beverage dispenser in the same space that any well-known dispensing valve occupies. The module includes a housing having a front-loading, refrigerated chamber for receiving a disposable concentrate package, a motor and pump drive, a refrigeration system, a front door, a water on-off valve, a water flow control, and a control system. The disposable concentrate package includes an integral concentrate container and pump, mixer and nozzle unit. The dispense module can be an integral part of a new dispenser and can also be retrofitted onto existing dispensers in place of one or more dispensing valves to dispense either carbonated or non-carbonated beverages. The concentrate packages are easily and quickly inserted into and removed from the module to change flavors as desired.

    • The present invention shows a beverage dispenser of the type utilizing a tower standing above a counter top surface. A plurality of beverage supply lines are connected to a mounting block secured to a top surface of the counter top. The mounting block includes a plurality of receptacles providing releasable securing of a plurality of beverage line modules thereto. The beverage line modules are retained within the tower and each include an insulation block formed around a pair of beverage lines. The beverage lines terminate on one end thereof with valve receptacle ends for connecting to a plurality of dispensing valves, and on opposite ends with plugs for releasable insertion into the receptacles. The modules can be conformed to provide for beverage dispensers of varying numbers of beverage valves wherein the number of valves is equal to or less than a number of receptacles in the mounting block.

    • A lightweight, portable post-mix carbonated beverage dispenser unit for use in small offices or small-volume locations is described. Flavored syrup is supplied to the unit from disposable sealed syrup packages which are plugged into a dispenser valving system. CO.sub.2 is supplied to the unit carbonator system in returnable containers which also may be quickly plugged into a CO.sub.2 valving system. A thermoelectric refrigeration system may be provided to decrease noise and the number of moving parts or a mechanical freon system may be used. The unit construction may be modular for ease of repair. The cabinet is injection-molded from plastic. Water is supplied to the unit for mixing with the CO.sub.2 and syrup from a water reservoir which may be manually filled. The refrigeration system cools the water in the reservoir, as well as the syrup packages and carbonator tank.
