摘要： Disclosed is a shear type fluid spray nozzle having a small size for use on a vehicle to produce a desired shear spray that includes a body made from one piece of material that defines an inlet, a cavity, and an outlet. In an embodiment, the cavity may be aligned along an inlet axis and the outlet is aligned along an outlet axis that is generally transverse to the inlet axis. The geometry of the fluid spray nozzle may act to separate a main flow of fluid within the cavity to maintain the spray aim and spray fan shape at a desirable condition.

摘要： A gas assisted spray nozzle assembly having a nozzle body in the form of a hollow tubular member, such as a single cylindrical pipe section, which defines a mixing zone and a downstream barrel extension zone. A liquid inlet and an impingement pin are supported by the tubular member in opposed relation to each other at the mixing zone, and a pressurized gas inlet is provided at an upstream end of the tubular member. An annular dispersion ring is fixedly supported within the tubular member downstream of the impingement pin for defining an annular ledge for directing a peripheral portion of pressurized gas stream and liquid atomized in the mixing zone radially inwardly for facilitating continued intermixing of the liquid and pressurized gas stream as they proceed through the barrel zone for discharge from the spray nozzle.

The compact nozzle assembly and spray head generate a very effective cleaning spray at a selected spray fan angle, yaw angle and roll angle and, in an exemplary embodiment, the spray fan is dual shear shaped, producing an even distribution, which may be varied from 30° to 120°. Spray head may be as small as 5 mm in diameter and be aimed to provide a spray with various spray aim, yaw and roll angles. The design accounts for better mold ability and versatility of application.

摘要： The invention relates to a spray nozzle comprising an elastomeric tube (1) comprising a proximal end (7) through which a fluid is intended to enter said tube (1), and a distal end (8). The spray nozzle also comprises a slit (9) formed in the elastomeric tube (1) between the proximal end (7) and the distal end (8), for spraying the fluid out from the elastomeric tube (1). The elastomeric tube (1) includes a reinforcing element (10, 11) for limiting deformation of the elastomeric tube (1). By providing a slit in a tube between the proximal and distal ends of the tube, the slit can be sized to provide a broad spread pattern to the spray. The reinforcing element prevents over-expansion or deformation of the elastomeric tube.

摘要： An apparatus and system that efficiently and effectively delivers a sanitizing fluid to ducts in the form of a fog or mist is described. A canister that contains a liquid sanitizing solution is attached to a compressor and includes a straw that has an internal passageway that extends into the liquid and a venturi tube above the level of the liquid that connects with the internal passageway in the straw. The headspace above the liquid in the canister is pressurized, causing fluid to flow upwardly in the straw when a trigger is depressed, drawing fluid upwardly in part by the venturi. As the liquid passes the venturi the pressurized air that is flowing into the venturi causes the fluid to form a fine mist. The mist, under pressure from the compressor, is routed into a flexible delivery tube that has been previously positioned in a duct system. The terminal end of the tube has an atomizing ball attached thereto and the atomizing ball has a series of orifices through which the misted, atomized fluid is delivered. As fogged sanitizing solution flows through the orifices it is deposited on the interior surfaces of the duct. The delivery tube and the attached atomizing ball are withdrawn from the duct as the sanitizing fog is emitted from the ball. The fan in the HVAC system is not activated so there is no deliver of the sanitizer through registers and into the living space. The apparatus and method may be used to apply other fluids to other surfaces.

摘要： A nozzle arrangement includes a nozzle inlet part having an inlet duct for liquid under pressure, and a nozzle outlet part which is displaceable relative to the nozzle inlet part between a first and second position and which has a high-pressure nozzle and a low-pressure nozzle each configured as a fan-jet nozzle. In the first position, only the high-pressure nozzle is connected to the inlet duct and in the second position the high-pressure and the low-pressure nozzles are connected to the inlet duct. The at least one low-pressure nozzle is arranged radially offset to the high-pressure nozzle, and the nozzle outlet part has a connecting nipple via which the high-pressure nozzle is in a flow connection with the inlet duct and which interrupts or allows a flow connection of the inlet duct with the low-pressure nozzle depending on whether the nozzle outlet part is in the first or second position.
