摘要： A vehicle configured to carry solid refinery waste is disclosed. The vehicle includes a mobile tank including a plurality of compartments and at least one buffer disposed between each of the plurality of compartments. The vehicle further includes a plurality of manhole openings on a top wall of the tank, each manhole opening being associated with one of the plurality of compartments and being sized to enable an agitator to pass therethrough. The vehicle also includes a plurality of connectors, each connector being affixed to the mobile tank for movement therewith to selectively secure the agitator and a plurality of fluid valves sized to permit an emulsion of the solid refinery waste and at least one diluent to pass therethrough in flowable form.

摘要： A continous mixing apparatus has an upper rotary disk and a lower rotary disk able to rotate independently of one another. A plurality of scrapers are attached to the upper and lower sides of the upper and lower rotary disks. Scrapers on the lower side of the lower rotary disk have a notch enabling the scrapers to pass over a lower ring plate in the mixer. Material to be mixed is supplied to an upper portion of the mixer, and the product is discharged from a lower portion of the mixer. The device is constructed to enable any subsequently replenished liquids to not rise to the top of the mixing apparatus. The device produces a mixture that is uniform, highly stable, and that has a small particle size or a low viscosity which can be manufactured quickly.

摘要： A valve for diluting and activating polymer molecules used in wastewater treatment is designed to divert a desired amount of dilution water around the primary dilution and activation apparatus to the inlet of the secondary dilution apparatus. Water in the valve passes through a slot which extends through about 180 degrees. The ends of the slots have square corners, so that the total volume of water which passes through the valve and the relative proportion of water which passes through the primary and secondary activation apparatus can be adjusted independently of each other. In this manner, a control system can be used which only requires information regarding the total amount of water supplied to the system in order to execute operator instructions as to the total volume of water required and the proportions of water to be supplied to the primary and secondary dilution apparatus.

Each of the distance collars is fixed at its outer circumferential surface to the inner surface of the cylindrical structure, and forms at a part of its inner circumferential surface in cooperation with the circumferential surface of the rotary shaft an annular slit which constitutes a passage for a material current. The dispersion chamber houses in the inner space thereof a rotary blade having a shearing edge, and fixed to the rotary shaft so that the rotary blade extends at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the rotary shaft. The rectifying chamber houses in the inner space thereof a bearing for the rotary shaft, which is fixed to the inner surface of the cylindrical structure and provided with a plurality of small gaps which constitute passages for the material current.

摘要： A high intensity conditioning mill for conditioning aqueous pulp containing particles of clay and mineral impurities preparatory to subjecting the pulp to froth flotation comprising a conditioning vessel for containing the body of aqueous pulp, a plurality of generally horizontal baffles mounted within said vessel and dividing the interior thereof into a plurality of chambers, each baffle being formed with a central, circular hole, inlet means for feeding aqueous pulp to the lowermost chamber, outlet means for removing conditioned aqueous pulp from the space above the uppermost baffle, a rotatable, generally vertical drive shaft centrally positioned to rotate in said vessel and extending generally concentrically through each hole in each baffle and a plurality of impellers mounted on said shaft and generally positioned within a hole of the horizontal baffle, the impellers being of a size relative to said holes sufficient to provide passageways for the aqueous pulp from each chamber to each adjacent chamber whereby the aqueous pulp is caused to flow from the lowermost chamber to the space above the uppermost baffle while being subjected to the action of the impellers.
