摘要： A method of making a label and securing the label to a substrate. The method comprises formulating a dissolvable liner coating. The label has a face stock comprising an upper side and a lower side. The dissolvable liner coating comprises each of a remoistenable adhesive, activated coconut carbon filtered water, and gypsum. The method includes situating an adhesive on the lower side. The method comprises covering the adhesive on the lower side with the dissolvable liner coating. The method includes printing indicia on the upper side while the dissolvable liner coating is covering the adhesive. The method comprises causing the dissolvable liner coating to come into contact with water to cause the dissolvable liner coating to dispel to thereby expose the adhesive. The face stock lower side is secured to the substrate via the exposed adhesive.

摘要： A combination wristband and label form has a first sheet and a backing. The first sheet has a top portion with a plurality of die cut labels, and each of the labels is removable from the form. The first sheet also has a bottom portion comprising a release liner having a release material. The backing has a top portion with a release liner having a release material and a bottom portion having wristband configured to receive an indicia. The wristband is separable from the form and is formed of a single ply of water-resistant and tamper-resistant material. The wristband has a first lateral end and a second lateral end extending outwardly from a central portion, and a fraction of the central portion is a label die cut into the first sheet top portion. The first lateral end has an adhesive area and the second lateral end has perforations without adhesive.

摘要： In an indirect process, acrylic adhesive is coated on a silicone liner. A soft rubber roller is employed between a reverse anilox cylinder and an anvil cylinder in a flexo print station to reduce shear hardening in the coating process and prevent or reduce shear hardening on the print rollers. Once the coated silicone liner passes the rollers, air knives are used to speed up the drying of the adhesive on the silicone liner before the coated liner is laminated to a face stock.

The border is coated with an adhesive at the second side and a release liner is releasably secured thereto. The apparatus comprises a direct thermal printer having a first print head and a thermal transfer printer adjacent thereto and having a second print head. The method includes the step of coating the second side with a direct thermal coating, and the step of situating the label underneath the printing apparatus such that each of the first print head and the second print head face the first side. A controller is used to cause the direct thermal printer to print a second indicia on the second side, and to cause the thermal transfer printer to print a first indicia on the first side.
