摘要： An article of footwear with an upper including a ribbon structure is disclosed. The ribbon structure comprises ribbon sections winding back and forth between the peripheral edges of the upper. At the peripheral edges, the ribbon loops around and some portions along the loops may raise up from a backing layer. An embroidered border element is applied over the peripheral edges to tack down or cover the raised portions of ribbon. The loops of ribbon may also be used as lace loops.

摘要： A brassiere includes a front portion configured to be position along a front of a torso, a back portion coupled to the front portion, and a shoulder strap extending from the front portion to the back portion. The front portion comprises a fabric layer and a discontinuous polymer layer. The fabric layer includes a first, user-facing side and second side opposite the first side. The polymer layer is deposited on the second side of the fabric layer. The polymer layer forms covered fabric areas where the polymer is applied to the fabric layer and noncovered fabric areas where the polymer is not applied to the fabric layer. The noncovered fabric areas provide openings in the discontinuous polymer layer, thereby exposing the fabric layer. An elastic modulus of the covered fabric areas is greater than the noncovered fabric areas.

In one embodiment, the methods comprise: receiving a recipe having a list of ingredients and quantities, for each of the ingredients a corresponding record is found within a database of known records, the records are associated to quantities and nutritional values. The units of measurement of the recipe ingredients and the identified record are compared. When the units are the same, no conversion is performed. When the units are different, the units of the known record are converted using a conversion factor derived from a relationship between the differing units of measurement. In one variant, the conversion factor may be identified from a table of conversion factors relating various units of measurement to one another. Finally, the converted or the known nutritional values are multiplied by a ratio of the quantity of the ingredient in the recipe to the quantity of the known record.

The method further includes wirelessly receiving a sensed biometric parameter of the individual at a receiver associated with the fixed display device. After determining that the individual has moved within the predetermined range and that the sensed biometric parameter is an authorized parameter for display based on a user profile of the individual, the sensed biometric parameter is displayed on the fixed display device. The method further includes detecting that the individual has moved outside of the predetermined range, and removing the sensed biometric parameter from the fixed display device.
