    • Disclosed are a light source and a display system. The light source comprises at least one original light emitting device group (1) and at least one supplementary light emitting device group (2). The original light emitting device group (1) comprises at least two LED (11, 12, 13) and a wavelength light combining device (14, 15), wherein the energy of the overlapped spectrum in the normalized spectrum of the two LED is smaller than 50% of the smaller energy of the two, and the wavelength light combining device combines the light output from all the LED in the original light emitting device group (1) in a wavelength light combining way. The supplementary light emitting device group (2) comprises at least one LED (21). The energy of the overlapped spectrum in the normalized spectrum of any LED of the supplementary light emitting device group (2) and at least one LED of the original light emitting device group (1) is larger than or equal to 10% of the smaller energy of the two. The light source also comprises a geometric light combining device (31), which combines the light finally output from the original light emitting device group (1) and the light finally output from the supplementary light emitting device group (2) into one beam of light in a geometric light combining way.

    • A light source includes two excitation light sources generating two respective excitation lights, a filter, and a wavelength conversion material. The second excitation light has a peak wavelength shorter than that of the first excitation light. The transmittance curves of the filter are dependent on the input angle. The first and second excitation lights are inputted to the filter at angles smaller than a first threshold angle, and angles between the first and a third threshold angle, respectively. Both excitation lights pass through the filter to excite the wavelength conversion material, which generates a converted light but reflects some of the excitation lights. Part of the reflected first excitation light reaches the filter at input angles greater than a second threshold angle and is reflected by the filter back to the wavelength conversion material for recycling. The third and second threshold angles are greater than the first threshold angle.

    • The present invention discloses replaceable cathode choking devices of an aluminum reduction cell which comprises cathode carbon blocks and cathode choking devices placed at the bottom of the aluminum reduction cell. The cathode choking devices are placed on surfaces of the cathode carbon blocks. The cathode choking devices are made of mullite, spinel or zirconite which is high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant and of high specific gravity. The cathode choking devices have a cross-section of semicircular, arc or streamline shape. The cathode choking devices have a height of 50-150 mm and a width of 100-300 mm. The cathode choking devices are elongated block-shaped. The cathode choking devices are placed in a direction along a long side of a cathode of the reduction cell, wherein one or more cathode choking devices are placed as a group. The present invention can better improve the stability of molten aluminum-electrolyte interface within the aluminum reduction cell, decrease the polar distance effectively during normal production and achieve a lower operating voltage of the reduction cell, thereby realize the effect of energy saving and consumption reduction.
