摘要： A high-power point and one or more low-power points transmit signals associated with the same cell-identifier in a heterogeneous cell deployment. Coverage areas corresponding to the low-power points fall at least partly within the coverage area for the high-power point, so that mobile stations within range of a low-power point are also within range of the high-power point. Channel-state-information reference symbols, CSI-RS, are transmitted using different CSI-RS resources on different transmission points within the cell, while configuration of CSI-RS measurement resources is conducted on a UE-specific basis. The choice of measurement resources to be used is determined by the network, based on the properties of the channels from the transmission points to the UE. As the UE moves around within the cell, the network tracks the channel properties and reconfigures the CSI-RS resources measured by the UE, to correspond to the resource of the closest transmission point or points.

摘要： A high-power point and one or more low-power points transmit signals that are associated with the same cell-identifier in a heterogeneous cell deployment. The coverage areas corresponding to the low-power points fall at least partly within the coverage area for the high-power point, so that mobile stations within range of a low-power point are also within range of the high-power point, from a downlink perspective. The same CRS signals are transmitted by both the high-power (macro) point and some or all of the low-power (pico) points. At the same time, the network transmits CRS-based PDSCH for a particular UE on both the high-power point as well as on some or all of the low-power points. In some embodiments only a subset of the points, e.g., those points that the UE hears sufficiently well, participate in the PDSCH transmission using CRS for channel estimation.

摘要： Embodiments herein include a method in a user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink control information in time slots of a subframe over a radio channel to a radio base station. The uplink control information is comprised in a block of bits.The UE maps the block of bits to a sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE block spreads the sequence across Discrete Fourier Transform Spread-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (DFTS-OFDM) symbols. This is performed by applying a spreading sequence to the sequence of complex valued modulation symbols, to achieve a block spread sequence of complex valued modulation symbols. The UE further transforms the block-spread sequence, per DFTS-OFDM symbol. This is performed by applying a matrix that depends on a DFTS-OFDM symbol index and/or slot index to the block-spread sequence. The UE also transmits the block spread sequence, as transformed, over the radio channel to the radio base station.

摘要： A first user equipment transmits a beacon signal to be detected by at least one second user equipment for Device-to-Device, D2D, communication in a wireless telecommunications network. The first user equipment transmits the beacon signal in transmission bursts with a first energy level, where the transmission bursts are transmitted continually over time in order to enable detection of the beacon signal by the at least one second user equipment. The first user equipment then increases the energy of the transmission bursts at one or more intervals to a second energy level such that transmission bursts with the first energy level is alternated with transmission bursts with the second energy level, and such that transmission bursts with the first energy level recur more frequently over time than transmission bursts with a second energy level. A user equipment, a network node and a method in the network node are also provided.

A mobile station is configured to measure CSI-RS on a subset of the CSI-RS resources, the subset corresponding to CSI-RS resources used by a subset of the transmission points. The mobile station is also configured to assume that no downlink data will be transmitted in the remaining portion of the set of CSI-RS resources. CSI feedback is then received from the mobile station, based on measurements of the CSI-RS.

摘要： In a heterogeneous cell deployment a mobile terminal may need to receive control data transmissions from a macro node at the same time as a pico node is transmitting user data for the mobile terminal, using the same frequency or set of frequencies. This can result in a problematic interference situation. According to several embodiments of the present invention, at least one of two general approaches is used to mitigate the interference situation described above. In a first approach, the pico node's transmission power is reduced in some time intervals, thereby reducing the interference to a level where reception from the macro node is possible. In a second approach, which may be combined with the first approach in some cases, the data transmitted from the macro node is provided by the pico node, either alone or in combination with the macro node.
