    • An image correction method obtains scanned image data by photoelectrically reading a proof print obtained from original image data representing an original image. The method carries out a first color conversion for obtaining converted scanned image data by converting the scanned image data into a common color space corresponding to color perception; calculates a relationship between data values of the converted scanned image data and data values of the original image data as a color correspondence relationship; carries out a second color conversion for obtaining converted original image data by converting the original image data into the common color space based on the color correspondence relationship; carries out a third color conversion for obtaining print image data by converting the converted original image data from the common color space into a color space for printing; and obtains a print based on the print image data.

    • Supplementary information related to original data is embedded in the original data without being lost or altered and without degrading the quality of the original data. A photographing condition or the like regarding photographing of the original image data is generated as the supplementary information by supplementary information generating means and stored in a database on a network by supplementary information storing means. Storage management information such as a URL address of where the supplementary information is stored is generated by storage management information generating means and embedded by embedding means in the original image data by using deep layer encryption. The original image data in which the storage management information has been embedded are recorded in a recording medium. Since the storage management information has a smaller amount of data than the supplementary information, quality of the original data is prevented from being degraded even when the storage management information is embedded in the original image data.

    • A developing apparatus for bringing a film into contact with a frame portion which defines a developing chamber in such a manner that a surface of the film formed an electrostatic latent image is opposed to a developing electrode disposed in the developing chamber, and for developing the film under a liquid developer supplied to the developing chamber while applying a bias voltage to the developing electrode.
