The circuit includes a substrate such as a silicon substrate, a dielectric optical waveguide part arranged in a recess of the substrate, and an optical device mounting part formed on a protrusion of the substrate. An electrical wiring part is disposed on the dielectric layer. The optical device is mounted on the substrate. An optical sub-module includes the optical device which is possible to mount on the substrate.

The multiple apertures are disposed facing a charge wire, and the linear patterns are formed in the longitudinal direction of the grid electrode and disposed at equally-shaped intervals in a lateral direction thereof to cause the fitting member to apply tension in the longitudinal axis of the thin plate member at end portions in the lateral direction of the fitting member. The fitting members engage hooks mounted on the scorotron charger at both ends of the grid electrode in a longitudinal direction of the thin plate member containing the multiple apertures and linear patterns.

摘要： A laser light source is disclosed consisting of first and second lasers that respectively generate laser beams of wavelengths λ1 and λ2. Wavelength λ1 is in the range of 0.9-1.0 μm. A nonlinear optical crystal uses the laser beams of wavelengths λ1 and λ2 as inputs, and outputs a coherent beam having a wavelength λ3 of a difference frequency that satisfies a relationship of 1/λ1−1/λ2=1/λ3. The nonlinear optical crystal has a periodically poled structure of a single period. The wavelength λ3 of the difference frequency varies between 3.1 μm and 2.0 μm when the wavelength λ2 varies between 1.3 μm and 1.8 μm.

摘要： The invention provides a compact laser light source whose wavelength can be designed freely in a wavelength band in which the semiconductor laser has not been put to practical use by combining an efficient nonlinear optical crystal and high-power semiconductor lasers for optical communication. In one embodiment, the laser light source includes: a first laser for generating a laser beam of a wavelength λ1; a second laser for generating a laser beam of a wavelength λ2; and a nonlinear optical crystal that allows the laser beam of wavelength λ1 and the laser beam of wavelength λ2 as inputs and outputs a coherent beam having a wavelength λ3 of a sum frequency that satisfies a relationship of 1/λ1+1/λ2=1/λ3. The wavelength λ3 of the sum frequency is 589.3±2 nm that is equivalent to the sodium D line.
