The apparatus includes: a buffer, to store a plurality of data packets until transmission; a macro-packet transmitter, to prepare macro-packets from the stored plurality of packets and operate in a UDP mode that includes a predetermined re-transmit and flow control protocol; and a processor, to stream the macro-packets to a computer/server or storage device in real time and to retransmit respective macro-packets of the stream of macro-packets via the re-transmit and flow control protocol in accordance with a request from the computer/server.

摘要： A universal mobile telephony system (UMTS) network monitoring system for capturing intercepted UMTS data. ATM cells from a UTRAN interface may be intercepted. The UTRAN interface may be an lu interface, an lur interface, or an lub interface, which are, respectively, interfaces between a core network (CN) of the UTRAN and a radio network controller (RNC) of the UTRAN, an interface between RNCs of the UTRAN, and an interface between a Node B of the UTRAN and an RNC of the UTRAN. The ATM cells may be reassembled into UMTS packets of the UTRAN, among which user plane packets may be segregated from control plane UMTS packets based on fields and bytes of the reassembled UMTS packets. The control plane packets may be stored to a non-volatile storage medium of the network monitoring system or processed in real time and results thereof displayed graphically.

摘要： A prosthetic nucleus pulposus for replacing the natural nucleus pulposus of an intervertebral disc. The prosthetic nucleus proposus comprises a partially collapsed sealed envelope formed from a material which is permeable to extracellular body fluid. The envelope contains a solute which provides an osmotic potential across the walls of the envelope. In use, the partially collapsed envelope is surgically implanted in the hallowed-out interior of an intervertebral disc and is allowed to absorb fluid, whereby expansion of the envelope and subsequent disc expansion is accomplished.

摘要： A two-part fastening mechanism employing (1) a continuous metal strip having attachment slots whose axes are oriented parallel to the length of the strip, and (2) a single preformed metal connector piece having a longitudinally-oriented hook for gripping one end of a tile and a stem portion insertable into one of the slots in the metal fastening strip and bendable over the slot and back upon itself for retaining the connector piece attached to the continuous metal strip. When installed, the fastening mechanism holds each tile in two places: at a first end via the hook, and at an opening in the tile where the connector piece passes through.
