The information storage medium includes: navigation data for AV data; at least AV data which is decoded to an AV data stream with reference to the navigation data and is recorded with a format of a clip as a recording and reproducing unit; and preloading information which reads data to be preloaded corresponding to the AV data and commands the data to be stored in a buffer.

The information storage medium stores audio/visual data, and at least one Enhanced Navigation application including at least one Enhanced Navigation file, the Enhanced Navigation file being reproduced together with the audio/visual data, wherein the Enhanced Navigation application includes a loading information file, which includes preload information specifying the location of the Enhanced Navigation file to be buffered before reproduction of the Enhanced Navigation application, as the Enhanced Navigation file. Accordingly, it is possible to guarantee seamless reproduction of audio/visual data for an Enhanced Navigation application.

摘要： An information storage medium which stores data structures supporting multi-angles includes clip AV streams for respective angle data of multi-angle motion picture data. As additional information for each clip AV stream, clip information is recorded on a separate storage area from that of the clip AV streams. The clip information includes jumping-point information for jumping into another angle. Each of the clip AV streams may be recorded in a contiguous recording area, or divided into smaller interleaved units that are interleaved with units of the other clip AV streams.

摘要： A storage medium storing a multimedia image stream and a text-based subtitle stream, and a reproducing apparatus and a reproducing method therefor are provided to reproduce the text-based subtitle data stream recorded separately from the multimedia image stream such that the subtitle data can be easily produced and edited and a caption can be provided in a plurality of languages. The storage medium stores: image data; and text-based subtitle data to display a caption on an image based on the image data, wherein the subtitle data includes: one style information item specifying an output style of the caption; and a plurality of presentation information items that are displaying units of the caption, and the subtitle data is separated and recorded separately from the image data. Accordingly, a caption can be provided in a plurality of languages, and can be easily produced and edited, and the output style of caption data can be changed in a variety of ways. In addition, part of a caption can be emphasized or a separate style that a user can change can be applied.
