摘要： Techniques are provided for dynamically establishing and managing authentication and trust relationships. An identity service acquires and evaluates contracts associated with relationships between principals. The contracts permit the identity service to assemble authentication information, aggregated attributes, and aggregated policies which will drive and define the various relationships. That assembled information is consumed by the principals during interactions with one another and constrains those interactions. In some embodiments, the constraints are dynamically modified during on-going interactions between the principals.

摘要： A method and system for dynamic assignment of entitlements is provided. A trigger is received from an identity store. A membership generator generates a list of members from user objects stored in the identity store. The generated list is compared against a previously generated list for changes. The changes are placed into an attribute modify specification, an entitlement grant specification, and an entitlement revoked specification. Using these specifications, a policy decision module routes the changes to policy enforcement modules. The policy enforcement modules implement the changes to entitlements.

摘要： In a computing environment, an association and layout of virtual machines is provided as a system instantiated for a common computing goal, such as providing a data center with an email system for an enterprise. Irrespective of physical computing devices, a template exists for each of the virtual machines according to a role of the common computing goal, including a definition for external connectivity with other virtual machines. From a template library, certain of the virtual machine templates are selected and tessellated into an application functioning to accomplish the computing goal. Storage configurations contemplate physical storage devices variously arranged over the near and short term relative to each of the virtual machine templates and to the tessellated application as a whole. Managers coordinate, allocate and oversee same.
