摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for transmitting and receiving data in a communication system with a plurality of antennas. Data and a first pilot are generated. The first pilot is transmitted at a first position in a frequency domain that corresponds to a position of the generated data in the frequency domain and at a first position in a time domain that is with the generated data, in every transmission time interval of the data. A second pilot is generated. The second pilot is transmitted at predetermined second positions in the time domain and the frequency domain, in a transmission time interval that is predefined by a transmitter and a receiver.

摘要： A method for transmitting feedback information in a mobile communication system using Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is provided. The method includes, when knockdown precoding is used and Antenna Selection precoding is used, setting an index field for indicating a universal matrix of a precoding matrix of a first reverse feedback channel to a value indicating whether Antenna Selection Space Time Transmit Diversity (STTD) is present; when the knockdown precoding is used and the Antenna Selection precoding is used, writing antenna selection information in a vector bitmap field of the first reverse feedback channel; and when the knockdown precoding is used and the Antenna Selection precoding is used, estimating Channel Quality Information (CQI) according to the antenna selection information and writing the estimated CQI in a CQI field of a second reverse feedback channel.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for feeding back channel quality information and performing scheduling using the fed-back channel quality information in a wireless communication system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). In the OFDMA wireless communication system, forward performance degradation due to a decrease in an amount of reverse channel quality information is reduced, and also an increase in the reverse load due to channel quality information feedback is suppressed. A base station controls power of a physical channel using information fed back from a mobile station. In a method for feeding back channel quality information from the mobile station, sub-band-by-sub-band channel quality information is measured and channel-by-channel quality information of a number of channels is transmitted in order of sub-bands of better channel quality information. Average channel quality information for a total band is measured and transmitted.

摘要： An apparatus and method for efficiently transmitting/receiving a control channel in a mobile communication system simultaneously supporting a synchronous High-Rate Packet Data (HRPD) system and an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. Power of a control channel to be transmitted is measured. The measured power is compared with marginal maximum power set by a higher layer. According to the comparison result, information indicating whether a previous reverse packet has been successfully received and power control information for controlling power of a reverse link is inserted and transmitted in at least one of a Medium Access Control (MAC) channel and an OFDM symbol.

The method includes transmitting a first maximum number of control channel blocks transmissible by using a first modulation scheme and a second maximum number of control channel blocks transmissible by using a second modulation scheme, the first modulation scheme having a lower modulation order from among modulation orders of multiple modulation schemes usable for control information within a frame, the second modulation scheme having a modulation order higher than the modulation order of the first modulation scheme within the frame; and transmitting first control channel blocks determined based on the first maximum number through the first modulation scheme within the frame and transmitting second control channel blocks determined based on the second maximum number through the second modulation scheme within the frame.

摘要： An apparatus and method for positioning a pilot in a transmitter for an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) mobile communication system. In the apparatus, a consecutive block assignment determiner determines whether it will assign a consecutive block or a single block in a frequency axis or a time axis. A pilot tone pattern generator determines a pilot pattern in the block by applying a predetermined rule according to the determination result. A pilot tone inserter positions pilots in the block based on the determined pilot pattern.
