    • A hinge mechanism for separably and pivotably connecting a base with a cover which is integrally molded with the base and the cover. The base has a first hinge body molded therewith, with the first hinge body having a cavity defined a longitudinal pivot axis. The cover has a second hinge body molded therewith and a pivot pin extending from the second hinge body, the pivot pin being receivable within the cavity of the base first hinge body. The second hinge body of the cover and the wall of the base are shaped in a cooperative manner so that there is interference between the second hinge body and the wall to prevent the pivot pin from being inserted into or removed from the first hinge body cavity except when the cover is in a predetermined angular position. In addition, the hinge bodies and the base and cover are formed with cooperating features which inhibit inadvertent pivoting movement of the cover from defined positions.

    • A sealed assembly, includes a telecommunications enclosure having an inner rim with an upwardly facing tilted surface. The tilted surface of the enclosure has a tilt angle between about 30 degrees and about 60 degrees, preferably about 45 degrees. At least one, and preferably two, o-rings are provided. An end cap is shaped to fit the enclosure. The end cap has a groove. The groove has at least two sides for holding the o-ring in a position to contact the tilted surface of the rim, so that the o-ring is compressed between at least three surfaces when the end cap is in place on the enclosure. This construction forms a high-pressure seal between the rim and the end cap. The groove may include a curved surface for trapping the o-ring. Alternatively, the groove may include three flat surfaces instead of a flat surface and a curved surface.

    • A connector testing system includes a connector having a top section and a housing having a test channel formed therein, an electrically conductive terminal strip disposed within the connector, a portion of the terminal strip disposed within the test channel, and a bridge clip having a body and a test probe connected thereto.     • A connector has a base and a cylindrical terminal attached to the base. The terminal has a hole in its side wall and a horizontal slot extending from the hole. A cap is mounted on the base so as to substantially cover the terminal. The cap has a passage through it. The passage extends diagonally through the cap. The passage has a first end at a top end of the cap and a second end at a side wall of the cap. The passage may penetrate the top surface of the cap, or the passage may penetrate the side surface adjacent to the top corner of the cap. The cap is rotatable between a first position in which the second end of the passage is adjacent the hole of the terminal, and a second position in which the second end of the passage is adjacent the horizontal slot.     • A protector panel receives plug-in protector modules. The panel has a plurality of pin receiving holes. The panel has a plurality of members depending from its bottom.
