    • An inkjet recording apparatus is provided with at least one inkjet head having a plurality of groups of nozzles that eject the ink, and a platen closely arranged to face the at least one inkjet head. The plurality of groups of the nozzles are arranged in a width direction of the recording medium with predetermined clearances therebetween, and parts of the plurality of groups overlap when viewed from a direction in which the recording medium is fed so that the plurality of groups are continuously provided as a whole.     • An image forming apparatus includes a main casing and a cartridge detachably mountable therein. The cartridge includes a photosensitive drum and a developing roller disposed to oppose each other. The main casing includes: a metal frame for supporting the cartridge; a lock member supported to the metal frame and movable about a first axis to allow or restrict movement of the photosensitive drum relative to the metal frame; and a contact-separation member supported to the metal frame and movable about a second axis to allow contact and separation of the developing roller relative to the photosensitive drum. The lock member and the contact-separation member are aligned in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to an axis of the photosensitive drum such that the first axis is not overlapped with the contact-separation member or the second axis is not overlapped with the lock member in an axial direction of the photosensitive drum.

    • An ink-jet recording apparatus comprises rollers, an endless conveyor belt, a nip roller, and an ink-jet head. The endless conveyor belt is stretched between the rollers. The nip roller cooperates with an outer surface of the conveyor belt to sandwich a recording medium. The ink-jet head has nozzles from which ink is ejected to the recording medium that is conveyed in a predetermined conveyance direction by the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt has a base member, an elastic layer formed on an outer surface of the base member, and an adhesive layer formed on an outer surface of the elastic layer and holding thereon the recording medium. The elastic layer deforms in its thickness direction when the recording medium is sandwiched between the adhesive layer and the nip roller.

    • A liquid ejecting apparatus has a movement mechanism, a pressurized purge unit, and a liquid discharge restriction mechanism. The movement mechanism moves at least one of a liquid ejecting head and a cap so as to allow the cap to take a capping position where the cap covers a liquid ejection face of the head or an uncapping position where the cap is spaced away from the liquid ejection face and capable of receiving liquid ejected from nozzles formed on the liquid ejection face. The pressurized purge unit makes liquid forcibly ejected from the nozzles into the cap. The liquid discharge restriction mechanism restricts liquid from being discharged through a discharge port of the cap when the cap is in the capping position, and permits liquid to be discharged through the discharge port when the cap is in the uncapping position.

    • An object of the present invention is to provide an ink-jet printer that can wipe off ink adhering to an ink ejection face and besides can clean a lip of a cap in such a manner that foreign materials adhering to the lip can surely be removed. An ink-jet printer includes a cap, a wiper, a cap cleaning blade, and an ink supplier. The cap is contactable with and separable from an ink ejection face of an ink-jet head, and includes a lip that is brought into close contact with the ink ejection face. The wiper is movable in parallel to and relative to the ink ejection face. The cap cleaning blade is provided integrally with the wiper, and, while being in contact with the lip, cleans the lip in association with the wiper moving relative to the ink ejection face. The ink supplier supplies ink wiped off by the wiper to the cap cleaning blade.
