    • The present invention provides a system and method for automatically refining ontology within a specific context. The system comprises: a rich context extractor for discovering a semantics relationship conflict existing between an original ontology schema and application data; and an ontology schema and mapping refiner for refining the original ontology schema based on the semantics relationship conflict discovered by the rich context extractor, and creating a new mapping between the refined ontology schema and a data schema of the application data. According to the invention, users can save a lot of work of manual refinement, since the ontology schema is automatically refined based on contexts in the application data.

    • The present invention provides methods, systems and apparatus for generating a visualized hierarchy model for a semantic network, and for browsing a semantic network and a semantic network browser. An example of a semantic network comprises a plurality of concepts and a plurality of relation instances each for connecting two concepts. The method for generating a visualized hierarchy model for a semantic network comprises: determining the similarities among said concepts based on the connection relations of said plurality of concepts in said semantic network; and clustering the concepts with high similarities one by one, so as to form a visualized hierarchy model of said semantic network.

    • Methods, systems and apparatus for distributing and updating resources. An example method comprising the steps of: a resource producer registering a resource and a resource plug-in with a first server, and submitting a resource patch thereto when a resource update occurs; a second server replicating the resource, the resource plug-in and the resource patch from the first server, and a resource consumer downloading the resource, the resource plug-in and the resource patch from the second server; and updating the resource at the resource consumer side by executing the resource plug-in to apply the resource patch on the resource, and obtaining an updated resource version. The method and system of the present invention will greatly save network bandwidth in a large scale progressive resource distribution and make the design more flexible and extensible.
