摘要： An electronic device including a power source providing a source voltage, a capacitor, a primary regulator circuit, an always-on load that is active during a low power mode, and a recycle control circuit. The primary regulator circuit receives the source voltage and has an output that maintains a charge on the capacitor during an active mode. The primary regulator circuit does not contribute to a charge on the capacitor during the low power mode. The recycle control circuit includes a select circuit and a select control circuit. The select circuit selects, based on a control signal, between the voltage of the capacitor and at least one supply voltage including or otherwise developed using the source voltage to provide power to the always-on load during the low power mode. The select control circuit provides the control signal to control power provided to the always-on load during the low power mode.

摘要： In this DC/DC converter, a first switching circuit is connected between a first winding of a transformer and a DC power supply, and a second switching circuit is connected between a second winding and a battery. A control circuit includes a first circuit for performing feedback control so as to reduce a difference between a detected value and a command value of charge current, and a second circuit for correcting one of control input and output of the first circuit on the basis of the detected value and the command value. In charging the battery, the control circuit controls a phase shift amount of a first diagonal element in the first switching circuit and a phase shift amount of a second diagonal element in the second switching circuit relative to the drive phase of a first reference element in the first switching circuit.

摘要： An adaptive duty cycle limiting circuit is used with a switching DC-to-DC converter for preventing the duty cycle entering a region of operation having negative gain. The adaptive duty cycle limiting circuit includes a duty cycle ramp signal generator, a voltage source for providing a voltage having a fractional value of an input voltage source, and a comparator that compares the duty cycle ramp signal with the fractional value of the input voltage source. When the voltage level of the duty cycle ramp signal is less than the fractional value of the voltage source, a cycle limit signal is activated and communicated to a switching control circuit to adjust the duty cycle of the switching DC-to-DC converter to prevent the duty cycle entering the region of operation where the gain of the switching DC-to-DC converter becomes negative.
