摘要： Given a reflector arrangement in a device that is employed for the individual illumination of objects, high demands must be made of the durability of the mirror layers to be applied onto carriers. Considerable difficulties result in satisfying this demand, particularly given large-area reflector arrangements which are exposed to weather. In order to overcome these difficulties, the reflector arrangement is designed with shell carriers of transparent material that are designed tub-shaped and which have a vapor-deposited mirror layer provided on the side of the shell. This mirror layer is durably protected with suitable cover techniques against environmental influences which deteriorate or destroy it.

摘要： A lamp assembly includes a lamp capsule, a reflector, an electrical connector and a lens. The lamp capsule includes a lamp envelope having a base portion, and the reflector includes an opening for receiving the base portion of the lamp envelope. The reflector is fabricated of a resilient material such as a high temperature thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic. The base portion of the lamp capsule and the reflector include lamp interlocking elements which mechanically lock the lamp capsule in the reflector. The lamp interlocking elements preferably position the center of light output of the lamp capsule at the focal point of the reflector. The connector and a neck portion of the reflector include connector interlocking elements which mechanically lock the connector to the reflector. The lens and the outer rim of the reflector include integral lens interlocking elements which mechanically lock and position the lens on the reflector.

摘要： Improved light reflector apparatus for use in an electronic flash unit or the like is formed by an injection molding operation, which causes both precise shaping of a reflector and accurate mounting of the reflector securely within a housing. A light-reflecting flexible sheet is placed in a mold so that its light-reflecting front surface is centrally positioned adjacent a mold forming surface. The forming surface, which is larger than the sheet, has a contour adapted for shaping the sheet to reflect light into a beam of illumination. Liquid plastic is injected into the mold under pressure against the opposite surface of the sheet, thus pressing its light-reflecting surface into intimate contact against the forming surface. Because the sheet is smaller, the border of the forming surface is not covered by the sheet. Plastic flows beyond outer edges of the sheet against the uncovered border of the forming surface. The intimate contact between the forming surface and the sheet blocks plastic from leaking therebetween onto the light-reflecting surface. The plastic solidifies to form a housing having a supporting body underlying the sheet and a shoulder, integral with the supporting body and contiguous with and surrounding outer edges of the sheet. The shoulder traps the sheet against the underlying supporting body for maintaining the contour of the sheet caused by the molding surface.

摘要： A spot-light reflector structure is made up of two reflector bodies, a main reflector body and an auxiliary reflector body both of which have a shape which is, in part, that of a paraboloid of revolution. Both reflector bodies are arranged in coaxial relation. The main reflector body has a central aperture and is nonparabolic in the region around said aperture. The auxiliary reflector body is arranged inside of the main reflector body and has an upper portion which is substantially hemispherical and has a central aperture which is arranged in coaxial relation to the central aperture of the main reflector body. The central aperture of the auxiliary reflector body is surrounded by a tubular extension which forms preferably an integral part thereof and which is in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution of considerably smaller size than that of the main reflector body.
