摘要： A discrete article separating and dispensing apparatus having a drum, sub-divided by row and column dividers to form receiving receptacles for articles, such as pills. Further included is a feeding grid having a plurality of feeding receptacles which are selectively in registration with the receiving receptacles which are selectively in registration with the receiving receptacles of the drum for receiving articles from interior of the drum and feeding the articles to the drum receptacles. The feeding grid extends over a lower portion of the drum and is located interior of the drum and is preferably vibrated to enhance the feeding of articles to the receiving receptacles in the drum.

摘要： This invention relates to a process and an apparatus for spreading granular material for use primarily in a conventional circular storage bin having a floor and a material evacuating unit: the apparatus having a hopper for receiving the material dumped therein through a roof opening by a conventional elevator, and having further a vertically adjustable rotatable pan disposed beneath the hopper for receiving and holding the material, with the upper edge of the pan outer wall disposed above the lower edge of the hopper bottom whereby the pan is not rotated, the pan will fill up with the material and then the throat of the hopper will clog with the material, and including further motorized means operable to rotate the pan so that the material is thrown outwardly of the pan by centrifugal force, the material then falling on the bin floor in a level manner. A switch device is built into one side of the hopper and is responsive to material clogging up the hopper to automatically turn on the motor so as to rotate the pan, thus insuring that no material is discharged into the bin unless the spreader is operating at full capacity.

摘要： A fill pipe assembly adapted to be connected to a silo and extend from the top thereof to the lower portion for connection to a blower or the like by which the silo is filled with silage, etc. The upper end of the fill pipe has a laterally extending discharge structure and the invention primarily comprises the provision of suitable pivots and brackets which are axially aligned and intermediately spaced between the upper and lower ends of the conduit, whereby the conduit may be oscillated to move the lateral discharge extension in a to and fro pattern to move evenly distribute the discharged material in the silo than under circumstances where no pivoting of the fill pipe is possible.

摘要： This disclosure relates to a rotary feeder of the pressure differential type which includes a housing having a cylindrical cavity therein with an inlet and an outlet opening thereinto, a rotor mounted within the cavity for rotation relative to the housing, and a fixed stator telescoped within the rotor and supported by the housing. The rotor is provided with a plurality of circumferentially adjacent pockets in which liners are positioned. The liners are separately formed and then bonded together in situ to form a continuous liner assembly having exposed surfaces engageable with the housing to form a seal therewith between the inlet and the outlet. The stator is in the form of a valve, which is preferably formed of a stable plastic and which controls the flow of gases into and out of the pockets as the rotor rotates.
