    • How I came up with this idea, I am having problems in keeping unwanted people out of my apartment, when I am not there. The criminals was prying open the door knob locks and picking the Dead Bolt Locks. I went around to several Hardware Stores and Locksmith Stores around the city. I looked and observed the Dead Bolt Locks and all the door knob locks. I brought so many locks and the problem still is happening. So I wanted to invent something to give the police proof that this problem is happening so they can make a report.

    • A static unbalance-type balance shaft for canceling unbalance forces of an engine includes a principal bearing journal located adjacent a first end of the shaft and an outrigger bearing journal located adjacent the second end of the shaft. A first counterweight is positioned adjacent one side of the principal journal and a second counterweight is positioned on the other side of the principal journal. The balance shaft has a small third outrigger counterweight or other source of unbalance positioned adjacent the outrigger journal for maintenance of the shaft's Effective Plane of Static Unbalance within the length of the principal journal while allowing the composite center of gravity of the first and second counterweights to be shifted away from the outrigger unbalance, for the purpose of improving the stability of shaft operating shape at the outrigger journal end of the shaft across the entire range of operating speeds.

    • An air bag retainer to be used in combination with a steering lock for securing an air bag of an automobile while the steering lock secures the automobile. The air bag retainer includes a plate and a hooking portion extending from a side of the plate to hook a steering wheel of the automobile. Multiple through bores are defined in the other end of the plate so that connecting ends of the steering lock are able to respectively extend though the through bores to secure the air bag retainer to the steering wheel. Therefore, the air bag is securely covered by the plate and prevented from being stolen.

    • A hybrid lock architecture for a door designed to incorporate the functionality of a cylindrical lock architecture with the ease of installation of a tubular lock architecture is provided by the present invention. The hybrid lock architecture comprises a chassis assembly mounted in a bore of the door including an inside chassis assembly and an outside chassis assembly attached by at least one mounting bolt in a nullhands freenull installation. The inside chassis assembly and the outside chassis assembly are telescopically engaged to accommodate different door widths such that no adjustment is required. A door latch assembly is operably connected to the chassis assembly for retraction and extension of a bolt. A handle is mounted on a spindle on either side of the chassis assembly wherein rotational motion imparted on one of the handles is converted to linear motion within the chassis assembly in order to retract the bolt of the door latch assembly. The hybrid lock architecture is versatile and can accommodate a rose locking feature, an axial push button locking mechanism, a dual backset latch attachment, and/or a key cylinder assembly, as well as various field modifications. The hybrid lock architecture also uses standard base parts across multiple configurations which helps lower production costs.
