摘要： A system for determining the position of a bolt in a door including a locking mechanism for moving the bolt between a first locked position wherein the door is secured in position within a door frame and a second unlocked position wherein the door is moveable within the door frame. The position of the bolt is determined by a determining means and a signal indicative of the position of the bolt is generated. A transmitter is connected to the determining means and transmits a signal to a means for indicating to a user the position of the bolt. The indicating means includes a processor and receiver and wherein the transmitter transmits the signals generated by the determining means and the receiver receives the signal and provides the signal to the processor for determining the position of the bolt and generating a signal indicative of the determination.

摘要： A portable sliding window lock consists of a molded resilient triangular block having a suction cup securely fastened to its base. The suction cup is fastened to the base so that a jamming tapered tip on the triangular block is angled slightly toward the mounting surface. The portable sliding window lock is mounted on the vertical surface of a flat window pane adjacent the frame of a sliding window to intercept and jam the window frame with the sliding window partially open. This prevents forcing the partially open window any further open to gain access to an area. An optional feature includes an audible alarm mounted on the resilient triangular block which is set-off by a switch activated by force applied to a sliding glass window engaging the resilient triangular block. The audible alarm is activated by a contact switch, motion sensing switch or pressure switch embedded in the molded resilient triangular block.

摘要： A switch assembly having a frame bracket with screw holes designed to permit easy and convenient attachment to the frame of a latch gate. The bracket is designed to support a switch arm, a portion of which engages the latch bar mounted on the door or gate of the latch gate. The switch arm includes a contact which is in electrical communication with a switch pole whenever the latch gate is not fully closed and secured. However, when the latch is fully secured, the switch assembly of the present invention is designed to permit the latch bar to engage the switch arm to interrupt electrical communication between the switch arm contact and the switch pole. Thus, the present invention is designed to provide a normally closed switch whenever a latch gate is not fully secured in its locked position for energizing an alarm circuit and to de-energize such an alarm circuit only when the latch gate is in its fully secured and locked position.

The latch being capable of actuating at least one of the two switches and the lid of the box being able to actuate the other switch when either the lock or the lid of the box is tampered with. The lock being positioned to contact the latching means so that the latching means actuates at least one of the switches.

摘要： In a latch guard which has a mounting flange mountable in overlying relation to the inner face of a jamb in the vicinity of keeper means located on the jamb, and a blocking flange integrally fixed along one edge of the mounting flange substantially at right angles thereto, the improvement wherein a portion of the blocking flange projecting along and beyond the full length of a recess formed in the mounting flange in a direction away from a door has a plurality of toothed segments formed therein. The latch guard further includes a conductive plate which lies in the second plane paralleling the first plane and is normally spaced therefrom in a direction away from the door. At least one non-conductive compression spring is interposed between the plate and the blocking flange to urge the plate in a direction away therefrom. The stop and the jamb are formed with first and second recesses, respectively to receive blocking flange, the spring and the plate. The blocking flange and the plate are formed with projections facing one another, respectively; the blocking flange is conductive, and the flange and the plate are electrically connected to an intruder-warning system. Upon an intruder attempting to selectively jam a prying tool between the jamb and the stop, or between the door and the stop, the projections are electrically connected to one another and actuate warning means.
