    • The wire spool guide assembly is a conduit through which wire is dispensed in a controlled and orderly manner. The assembly has at least one wire spool guide, a handle bar and a spindle. The spindle may be a single spindle or part of a wire spool cart. The spindle is used to hold wire spools and the handle bar. The handle bar serves to hold the guide. The guide includes an eyebolt rotatably mounted to a support frame via a ball bearing. The eyebolt guides wire as it is dispensed from the spool acquiescing to the direction of the user's pull. Friction, created as wire is pulled through the eyebolt, slows the speed at which the spool rotates on the spindle. The frame of the guide, however, is fixed on the handle bar by a fastener disposed at a bottom end of the guide.

    • A compact fiber packaging system for fiber lasers is provided that comprises a series of spools nested inside one another for efficient volume utilization. The spools comprise an inner spool nested inside at least one outer spool to form a module. Generally, the fiber lasers are wrapped around the inner spool, and then around successive outer spools as required to form the module. Furthermore, the modules may be stacked to form a fiber assembly. The compact fiber packaging system further comprises devices and methods for minimizing thermal gradients between fibers and for removing Waste heat from the system. Additionally, the available volume is further utilized by disposing equipment and materials for operation of the fibers inside a hollow center defined by the inner spool, between the nested spools, and adjacent the nested spools.

    • A compressible bobbin for yarn treatment having a cylindrical framework made of a synthetic resin. The bobbin includes upper and lower end rings, circumferentially equidistantly disposed vertical frames and annular horizontal frames disposed equidistantly between the end rings. Both sides of the horizontal frames and one side of the end rings are provided with vertically upstanding piece members for regulating the degree of compression of the bobbin and acting as a stopper when compressed. The vertically upstanding piece members have each a height of one half of the interval between adjacent horizontal frames and are alternately arranged every two horizontal frames to form multiple columns. When compressed, the vertically upstanding piece members of each column abut to each intervening horizontal frame and on both sides thereof in an opposing manner. The vertically upstanding piece members located at least between the lower end ring and the lowermost horizontal frame further may be provided with auxiliary ribs that interconnect vertically, on the inner cylindrical framework, the vertically upstanding piece members and the lower end ring or lowermost horizontal frame, and when compressed, are adapted to be pliably shifted in parallel with the ring and the horizontal frame. The bobbin can be compressed uniformly and prevent yarn biting therein upon compression when used for yarn treatment, thus enabling a smooth, uniform yarn treatment.

    • A reel for a chain or the like comprises a core portion adapted to have a chain wound around it and a pair of flange portions arranged at opposite ends of the core portion for retaining the chain on the core portion. The core and flange portions are constituted by a plurality of bent rods bonded together. Each of the bent rods comprises a central portion forming part of the core of the reel and a pair of side portions at its opposite ends forming parts of the chain-retaining flanges of the reel. The reel is inexpensive to manufacture, and can be dipped in rust-preventive fluid along with the chain, thereby eliminating the necessity of winding a chain onto a special reel for rust treatment and then rewinding the chain onto another reel for storage or shipment.

    • A well point assembly is provided having an elongated flexible header pipe with a plurality of coupling joints attached thereto for attaching wellpoint assemblies. A flexible header pipe reel stores the flexible header pipe when not in use and allows the header pipe to be reeled off and positioned around an excavation site. A flexible wellpoint header pipe distribution reel is provided having a wheeled transport having at least two wheels. An axle has two wheels attached thereto and each wheel is rotably separate from the other wheel. The flexible wellpoint header pipe reel is mounted to the axle and rotable relative to the wheels. Reel handles are attached to the reel for rotating the reel relative to the wheel and flexible wellpoint header pipe is wrapped around the reel and is adapted to be reeled off responsive to rotation of the reel. The wellpoint header reel includes a lock for locking the reel and at least one wheel together, and the ratchet and pawl mechanism, which can be shifted to allow the reel to rotate in either direction relative to the wheels or can be shifted to allow the reel to rotate in either one or the other direction relative to the wheels.
