摘要： Two layers of flexible material, each of which is resistant to the passage of fluids and microbes, include spacers between them, and are hermetically sealed, for maintaining reduced atmospheric pressure in the space between them. Open cell foam supported in the space is compressed by the layers until one of the layers is torn, upon which the resulting increase in atmospheric pressure in the space allows the foam to resile, increasing the space between the layers as a warning to the user of the break. An electric switch which is responsive to pressure change is in communication with the space to also signal a warning of the break.

摘要： A pocket combination for holding a packet of dispensable paper tissue and for incorporation in a leather ski-glove or other like article of clothing, including a packet-receiving opening in the outer layer of the article, the edges of the opening holding the sides of the packet and an inner layer of material for supporting the bottom, major surface of the packet. There is a first, generally rectangular and flexible packet-retaining flap having a tissue-passing aperture therein and pivotally secured along one of its sides to the article outer layer, adjacent the packet-receiving opening. The periphery of the inner major surface of this first flap is equipped with a Velcro strip and the packet-receiving opening is bordered with a complementary Velcro strip. Thus the first flap is foldable to a closed position in which its Velcro strip engages the complementary Velcro strip, and inner surface portions of the flap engage the top of the packet to hold it against outward movement. The aperture allows tissues to be dispensed from the secured packet. A second, generally rectangular over-flap is also Velcro equipped and has one end secured to the article outer layer, and is foldable entirely over the closed first flap and is releasably held in that position by engagement with a complementary Velcro strip on the article outer layer.

摘要： A unitary flexible protective glove molded of a resilient material and adapted to be easily worn on the hand for use in the art of karate and the like is disclosed. The glove, when worn, covers a portion of the lower forearm, the wrist, and the hand. The portion of the glove covering the wrist and hand is substantially tubular in shape and designed to wrap around the wrist and forearm without the need of any securing means. There is a thumb pocket having on the inside a restraining strap. There is also a grip loop for the index, middle, ring and little fingers which is in close proximity to a finger padding section. The finger padding section and grip loop are held in close proximity by a bridging strap. The glove is designed to facilitate easy insertion of the hand without the need of securing straps.

摘要： A baseball protection device for attachment to a baseball glove includes a multi-layered shielding portion for protecting the wrist and lower forearm of one who wears the glove. It also includes a stretchable fabric sewn to outermost side edges of the shielding portion such that the shielding portion and fabric together encircle the wrist and forearm. The shielding portion is formed from two separate but attached sections sewn together along a seam extending lengthwise of the wrist and forearm. Each section has a pad of pliable, shock-absorbent material and a sheet of hard, semi-rigid material superimposed on top of the pad. The pad and sheet are encased in a durable material. The device is provided with a plurality of eyelets at a forward end thereof for detachably fastening the device to a heel portion of the glove using the existing glove lacing.
