摘要： A server of a wireless operator creates a roaming list based on a user's roaming plan and sends the roaming list to the user's wireless device. The roaming list includes a list of public land mobile networks (PLMNs). When the user travels away from their home wireless network to another geographic area, the wireless device scans based on the roaming list for radio signals. The roaming list contributes to user satisfaction because timely attachment to a radio network while away from home occurs efficiently since the wireless operator creates the roaming list based on both i) roaming agreements that the wireless operator is a party to with other wireless operators, ii) the user's roaming plan, iii) the radio access technology (RAT) capabilities of the wireless device and iv) the RAT capabilities of other wireless operators in particular geographic regions.

摘要： A method of managing identities for use in a mobile telecommunications device in a telecommunications network has the following features. The identity management process is triggered and one or more parameters of a currently available mobile telecommunications network detected. An identity database is searched—each record in the identity database comprises an identity and additional identity information for each identity. The additional identity information includes the one or more parameters. The identity management process involves selecting an identity when a first record comprising the one or more parameters detected is found in said searching and modifying an active identity of the mobile telecommunications device to be the selected identity when the active identity is not already the selected identity. This process can be carried out by a subscriber information module of a mobile telecommunications device.

The issuer may initiate the process by sending a provisioning information request message to a mobile device with a secure element. The mobile device may recognize the provisioning request message and gather the requisite provisioning information without requiring user input. The provisioning information may include information associated with the secure element of the mobile device. The mobile device may then send a provisioning request message to a provisioning system. The provisioning request message may include the requisite provisioning information to allow the provisioning system to provision the financial account on the secure element of the mobile device.

摘要： A paid instant message system and method that authenticate identities using a mobile telephone network, which comprise: a message server, user cell phone, and mobile telephone networks. The user cell phone has an instant messaging application installed therein. Each user account includes a specified charge for sending and receiving messages. By means of a paying and charging mechanism, the present invention makes the cost for sending junk messages increase and make the people oversending messages to pay the corresponding price, thus preventing appearance of junk messages. As for the normal instant messaging among people, messages are sent and received by each other, so they pay each other, and in this case, the fees paid and charged by one person or by one company will almost be equal, hence this will not cause any burden and influence to anyone who normally uses the instant messaging.

摘要： A repeat payment computer system includes a merchant server and mobile billing operator server that are programmed for user acquisition through carrier billing and subsequent conversion to credit card billing. An advantage of the process is that the user does not have to enter credit card information for the default billing cycles to occur. The user only enters a phone number and password. Fewer barriers are provided for the user to become a regular repeat customer of the merchant server. The fees associated with mobile billing according to the default billing cycles have to be paid by the merchant server and may be too high in the long run. The merchant server can avoid the high fees associated with carrier billing by switching the user to billing according to the credit card information provided. The user is typically switched after the user has already become a regular customer.
