In one example system, a central conference call server establishes point-to-point connections with accessory devices comprising a secure element and connected to corresponding participant devices. The conference call server includes an interface to a plurality of secure elements configured to perform scrambling and unscrambling of media signals communicated to and from the accessory devices. In another example, one of the participant devices operates as the central conference call server. In other examples, participant devices communicate on a conference call via point-to-point connections between all accessory devices connected to the participant devices. The accessory devices include secure elements for decryption and encryption of media signals communicated between the accessory devices.

The replacements change a membership of the entity from the first group to the second group.

Upon successfully completing the single authentication procedure, the wireless communication device may join the existing mesh network without needing any additional authentication procedures with another member device of the plurality of member devices to join the existing mesh network. This approach may be used for any mesh network, such as a social Wi-Fi mesh network.

After receiving a service request sent by a virtual terminal, a unified authentication platform generates a service token according to the service request, and sends the service token to the virtual terminal and a target network; the virtual terminal submits the service token to the target network, and requests the target network to provide service data; and the target network compares the service token submitted by the virtual terminal with the service token sent to the target network by the unified authentication platform, and provides the service data to the virtual terminal when the service token submitted by the virtual terminal is consistent with the service token sent to the target network by the unified authentication platform. By a unified authentication platform, the disclosure unifies authentication systems in a ubiquitous network, reduces huge signaling overhead and service delay in a heterogeneous network due to authentication, and improves authentication efficiency in the ubiquitous network.
