    • Disclosed is a system for integrating gestures and sounds including: a gesture recognition unit that extracts gesture feature information corresponding to user commands from image information and acquires gesture recognition information from the gesture feature information; a background recognition unit acquiring background sound information using the predetermined background sound model from the sound information; a sound recognition unit that extracts the sound feature information corresponding to user commands from the sound information and extracts the sound feature information based on the background sound information and acquires the sound recognition information from the sound feature information; and an integration unit that generates integration information by integrating the gesture recognition information and the sound recognition information.

    • Provided are a wireless television system and a wireless transmitter, capable of automatically turning off a light-emitting unit installed in the wireless transmitter depending on a power state of the wireless transmitter and the wireless television system. The wireless television system includes: a wireless transmitter for relaying a video signal received from the outside; a wireless television for receiving the video signal from the wireless transmitter and displaying an image corresponding to the received composite video signal; a light-emitting unit installed in at least one of the wireless transmitter and the wireless television, and displaying one of a power state and a signal transmission/reception state from one of the wireless transmitter and the wireless television; and a light-emission control unit for controlling the light-emitting unit to emit light when both power of the wireless transmitter and power the wireless television are turned on.

    • A system and method for controlling a remote vehicle comprises a hand-held controller including a laser generator for generating a laser beam. The hand-held controller is manipulable to aim and actuate the laser beam to designate a destination for the remote vehicle. The remote vehicle senses a reflection of the laser beam and moves toward the designated destination. The hand-held controller allows single-handed control of the remote vehicle and one or more of its payloads. A method for controlling a remote vehicle via a laser beam comprises encoding control signals for a remote vehicle into a laser beam that is aimed and sent to a designated destination for the remote vehicle, and sensing a reflection of the laser beam, decoding the control signals for the remote vehicle, and moving toward the designated destination.
