摘要： A method for creating a pressure pulse in a fluid system with a noisemaker, the method includes opening a valve of the noisemaker to allow a fluid of the fluid system to flow through a valve cavity of the noisemaker, the valve disposed within the valve cavity, the noisemaker connected in fluid communication with the fluid system; closing the valve of the noisemaker to abruptly interrupt the flow of the fluid through the valve cavity; and repeatedly opening and closing the valve to generate a pulsating flow to the fluid system.

摘要： A water leakage diagnosis device in an embodiment includes a total water leakage amount acquirer, a node water usage amount acquirer, a node water leakage amount estimator, an estimation parameter setting unit, and a water leakage location estimator. The total water leakage amount acquirer acquires a total water leakage amount in a pipe line network on the basis of an amount of water flowing into a pipe line network and an amount of water used by a customer in the pipe line network. The node water usage amount acquirer acquires a node water usage amount indicating a total amount of an amount of water to be used at each node in the pipe line network. The node water leakage amount estimator estimates the node water leakage amount a plurality of times on the basis of the total water leakage amount, the node water usage amount, and an estimation parameter. The water leakage location estimator estimates a water leakage location in the pipe line network on the basis of a plurality of estimated results of the node water leakage amount. The node water leakage amount estimator estimates the node water leakage amount using different estimation parameters for each of estimations of the node water leakage amount performed a plurality of times.

Subsequently, based on the detected periods of usage and periods of non-usage are used for learning a pattern associated and based upon the learned pattern, the liquid flow is automatically controlled by stopping the liquid flow during expected non-usage periods of time and turning the liquid flow on during expected usage periods of time.

摘要： A non-invasive thermal dispersion flow meter with chronometric monitor for fluid leak detection includes a heater, an ambient temperature sensor and a flow rate sensor which are configured to sense the temperature of a fluid in a conduit, and then monitor the flow of that fluid through the conduit. The fluid flow sensor is incorporated into a Wheatstone bridge circuit which is used to provide increased sensitivity to the outputs of the sensors. Based upon the ambient temperature sensor readings, the flow rate sensor and heater may be adjusted to optimize the operation of the system to detect leaks. An alternative embodiment utilizes a single sensor and separate heater which work together to determine heat propagation times which in turn is used to calculate flow rate. Based on the sensor readings, the flow may be adjusted to prevent damage and leaks by relieving the system of excess pressure.
