摘要： The present invention relates to hydrophobic gypsum and to a process for making gypsum hydrophobic, in particular it relates to a powdered hydrophobing additive, a hydrophobic gypsum composition and method for preparing same using granules containing organosilicon compounds as hydrophobing additives. The invention provides a granulated additive for rendering gypsum material hydrophobic, comprising a particulate carrier on which is deposited an organosilicon component, a binder polymer and an emulsifier for the organosilicon component.Such a granulated hydrophobic additive is able to provide a high initial hydrophobicity to gypsum materials to which it is applied and that the obtained hydrophobicity can last during a long period of time.

摘要： Multifunctional primer formulations are disclosed for composite building materials, such as materials that are generally cementitious, gypsum, or of another inorganic building material, including those containing cellulose, glass, steel or polymeric fibers. The multifunctional primer formulations provide multifunctional action to the primer including an ability to function as a primer and sealer in only a single coating. Such formulations when applied to a suitable substrate provide excellent adhesion to the substrate and improve paint adhesion and performance when applied thereto. Superior properties over commercial products is particularly notable when the formulations herein are applied to substrates, such as fiber cement, that have been manipulated or sized by cutting (e.g., by saw or water jet), sanding, punching, and/or shearing.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a calcined gypsum wherein the mixing water amount is reduced and the setting time does not increase. As a raw gypsum is compounded with a carboxylic acid-type material and calcined, a calcined gypsum can be manufactured wherein the mixing water amount is small and the setting time does not increase. Furthermore, a regular gypsum board can be manufactured without reducing the productivity of the gypsum board even if a large quantity of recycled gypsum causing increase of the mixing water amount is used as a raw gypsum, because the mixing water amount is small and the setting time does not increase for the calcined gypsum manufactured as described above.

摘要： The present invention provides a gypsum composition, a gypsum board and their preparation method and the use of DHA as an anti-sagging additive in a gypsum product. Said gypsum board comprises set gypsum prepared from the composition; while said composition comprises gypsum, and an anti-deformation additive, wherein the anti-deformation additive comprises at least one selected from a group consisting of dehydroascorbic acid, dehydroascorbate and semidehydroascorbic acid. The set gypsum prepared from the said composition shows better anti-sagging or deformation resisting property. The gypsum product of the present invention is hardly distorted and has stronger stability even in the condition of high humidity, thus improve the quality of the gypsum product to meet the demands of the customer.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method for the production of gypsum board using starch pellets. In accordance with the present disclosure, the starch necessary for board formation is provided in the form of starch pellets. These pellets are mixed with a gypsum slurry in a mixer. The pellets are initially insoluble and do not dissolve. However, during subsequent drying stages, the pellets become soluble and dissolve into the gypsum phase. This both provides the desired starch component and also results in the formation of voids within the set gypsum.
