    • Disclosed is a nozzle rotation mechanism that is small in size, has a simple structure, and can accurately adjust the rotational direction of a nozzle tip. Also disclosed is a coating device provided with the aforementioned nozzle rotation mechanism. The nozzle rotation mechanism is provided with: a nozzle having a discharge outlet from which a liquid material is discharged; a nozzle unit having a channel that connects the nozzle and a liquid material supply source; a base member; and a rotation device that is provided on the base member and rotates the nozzle unit. The nozzle is disposed in the nozzle unit such that the centerline of the discharge outlet of the nozzle forms an angle with the rotational centerline of the nozzle unit, and the nozzle unit is removably mounted to the rotation device.

According to the method of the invention, angling of the central nozzle axis of each misting nozzle with respect to a central axis of the respective conduit produces the tangential thrust to rotate the conduits and thereby mist a large area.

    • A rotating bearing assembly for a sprinkler coupled to a pipe segment is disclosed. The bearing assembly has a stem which permits fluid flow. The stem has a bottom open end with a collar and a top open end which is connected to a cap. The cap allows connection to a sprinkler head which rotates from water pressure through the pipe segment. The stem conduit rotates in relation to a sleeve which is frictionally fitted within the pipe segment. A plurality of washers is located between the collar and the bottom of the sleeve to provide a water seal under high pressure conditions. Another group of washers is located between the top of the sleeve and the cap to provide additional sealing under low pressure conditions.
