摘要： Colloidal mixing of cementitious material into a liquid such as water to form a grout slurry for pumping to a location for use includes a mixing tank and a colloidal mixing mill which grinds and pumps the mixed material with the material being repeatedly circulated between the mill and the tank. The colloidal mixing mill includes a housing defining a generally cylindrical chamber containing a rotor shaped to define a clearance of the order of 3 mm between the front and rear wall of the housing and the rotor with holes from a dished front face of the rotor to the rear face to carry the mixed materials to the clearance where a shearing action takes place to shear the particles in the mixed materials prior to exit through the outlet.

Specifically, the sewage pump is a non-clog centrifugal pump having an inlet for drawing fluid into the pump and an outlet for discharging the fluid into a pipe, while the chopper pump has an inlet for drawing fluid into the pump and an outlet for discharging the fluid into the wet-well. The chopper pump may be positioned either in or adjacent to the wet-well. The mixing nozzle fluidly coupled to the chopper pump discharge, is positioned in the wet-well. Methods include the steps of positioning a chopper pump within the wet-well, drawing in liquid sewage, including the entrained solids, reducing the size of entrained solids, and discharging the sewage and reduced size solids into the wet-well.

The impeller assembly also includes a sieve ring having axially opposed first and second ends, an inner cylindrical surface and an outer cylindrical surface, where the sieve ring encircles the base of the rotating blade at the first end so that a portion of the ears are radially spaced inside the inner cylindrical surface so that the ears rotate within the sieve ring. A plurality of pumping vanes are also provided for pumping the slurry, where each pumping vane has a pumping surface that rotates radially outside the outer cylindrical surface of the sieve ring. Preferably, the pumping vanes can be easily changed to allow for various head condition while providing a predetermined pumping capacity.
