    • A needleless injection device with a lower part receiving the agent cartridge and an upper part providing the energy needed for injection. The upper part contains energy store units capable of elastic form-change. Rotating the lower part in relation to the upper part causes the lower part to move along the longitudinal axis toward the upper part, resulting in the tension state of the energy storage structural elements. Furthermore, the device has a lock maintaining the tension of the energy storage units and component to release the lock. Among the energy storage structural parts there is at least one start unit capable of storing at least 60% of the total discharge energy (pressure), with the reversible elastic distortion not exceeding 25% of the internal length of the agent cartridge. The device has separate structural components for stretching the start unit and limiting its relaxation.

    • An apparatus and method for a controlled injection of a drug into a selected tissue of a subject by a practitioner, uses a drive unit for supplying the drug and a handpiece to be held and guided by the practitioner, connected to the drive unit for receiving the drug. The handpiece holds an injection needle to be inserted into the selected tissue by the practitioner for passing the drug to the selected tissue at an instantaneous and absolute pressure that varies as a function of the type of tissue and the placement of the needle. A pressure sensor senses this instantaneous pressure and a feedback mechanism supplies a perceptible audible, visual or other signal to the practitioner that indicates when the instantaneous pressure has reached a minimum desired pressure, the practitioner thus being informed that the correct placement and dosage has been attained.

    • A manually operated hydraulic syringe includes a syringe barrel. The syringe barrel has an interior surface bounding a chamber extending from a first end to an opposing second end. A manual plunger has a distal end slidably disposed within the first end of the chamber. A hydraulic plunger is slidably enclosed within the second end of the chamber. Sealed in substantial isolation within the syringe barrel is a hydraulic fluid, such as water or oil. Coupled to the distal end of the syringe barrel is a nozzle or cartridge in which a dispensing material, such as a high viscosity fluid, can be selectively disposed. Manual advancement of the manual plunger within the first chamber results in pressurization of the hydraulic fluid. In turn, the pressurized hydraulic fluid advances the hydraulic plunger under a force greater than the force applied to the manual plunger. Advancement of the hydraulic plunger within the syringe body functions to dispense the dispensing material from the attached nozzle or cartridge.
