    • An oscillator circuit (100, 200, 300, 10, 11) comprising a resonator (105) connected serially with a series to series feedback amplifier (110, 92), in which the series to series amplifier comprises a feedback network (210, 91) which has an impedance value which is below a certain first predefined limit and a phase value which increases with the operational frequency of the oscillator circuit with a rate which is above a second predefined limit. In one embodiment, the impedance value of the feedback network (210, 91) also varies with the operational frequency of the oscillator circuit, but is always below said first predefined value within the operational frequency of the oscillator circuit.

    • In one aspect, the present invention advantageously provides far greater granularity in adjusting the maximum (schedulable) uplink bit rates of users than is directly available from a defined grant table that is used for making scheduled uplink grants to those users. As a non-limiting example, the EUL scheduler in a NodeB in a WCDMA network calculates the “effective” bit rate desired for one or more users over a given time interval, and determines the pattern of scheduling grants to make from the grant table over that interval, to produce the desired effective bit rate(s). This capability enables the EUL scheduler to make relatively fine fractional adjustments to the aggregate uplink data rate for a plurality of users, thus allowing much more precise reductions in the aggregate uplink data rate of those users. The EUL scheduler makes these more precise adjustments, for example, in response to indications of congestion on the backhaul connection between the NodeB and its supporting RNC. Grant variations also may be used in the HARQ processes of one or more users, for obtaining better bit rate control granularity.

    • A Calibration Coupling Unit, CCU, and a method therein for enabling calibration of a Base Station are provided. The CCU comprises an Antenna Interface Standards Group, AISG, interface and the CCU is connected to the Base Station by means of radio branch feeder cables carrying uplink and downlink transmissions to/from the Base Station. The Base Station comprises a Radio Unit, RU, and a Base Band Unit, BBU, and the CCU is further connectable to an antenna array comprising antenna elements. The method in the CCU comprises receiving (110) at least one calibration signal from the RU on at least one radio branch feeder cable of the CCU; and converting (130) the calibration signal to a receiving frequency band of the RU. The method further comprises providing (140) the converted signal to the RU via at least one of the radio branch feeder cables, thereby enabling calibration of the Base Station.

The wireless node may include a sensing unit configured to determine whether a particular radio resource among the at least one radio resource is free to use based on the sensing information received from the at least one other wireless node.
