    • A portable mold-temperature control unit includes a local heating system, a first fluid duct, a second fluid duct, and a fluid exchange system. The local heating system includes a local heater for heating fluid that is used to rapidly heat a mold. The first fluid duct carries hot fluid heated by the local heating system. The second fluid duct carries cool fluid that is used to rapidly cool a mold. The fluid exchange system includes an outlet that permits fluid to flow from the first and second fluid ducts to the mold during heating and cooling, respectively. The fluid exchange system also includes an inlet that receives the fluid as it returns from the mold. In one embodiment, the heating system reheats the fluid returning from the mold and reuses it to heat the mold again. In a more particular embodiment, the heating system includes a steam generator that generates steam used to heat the mold. In another embodiment, the portable mold-temperature control system includes a local cooling system that cools the fluid used to cool the mold. In a more particular embodiment, the local cooling system cools fluid returning from the mold and reuses it to cool the mold. A method for using the portable mold-temperature control unit is also disclosed.

    • The invention discloses a machining method of welding an ear plate on a barrel of a central cylinder of a horizontal preheater. The machining method comprises step 1, designing a set of process equipment comprising welding guide brackets, a roller carrier and iron piers; step 2, drawing an assembly line of the ear plate on the barrel of the central cylinder; step 3, drawing a position line of the ear plate on a working platform and placing the ear plate on the central cylinder for spot welding; step 4, installing the welding guide brackets on the central cylinder, hoisting the welding guide brackets and the central cylinder together to the roller carrier, and placing the roller carrier on the iron piers to allow both ends of the central cylinder to be basically coaxial; step 5, placing temporary fixed flat steel on both ends of the ear plate and placing a run on plate and a blowout plate; step 6, symmetrically welding both sides of the ear plate on the central cylinder; step 7, removing the temporary fixed flat steel, the run on plate and the blowout plate, batch grinding welds and burrs; and step 8, hoisting the roller carrier and removing the welding guide brackets after the welds are proved conforming by ultrasonic examination. The horizontally welding method of the invention can substantially improve welding quality and reduce labor intensity of operators.

    • A modified multi-function specimen box is provided. The modified multi-function specimen box includes a box body (1). A box cover (2) is disposed on an opening of the box body (1). A fixed rotary spindle (4) is disposed on the box cover (2). The fixed rotary spindle (4) is capable of freely rotating with respect to the box cover (2). A sampling spoon (5) is disposed at the bottom of the fixed rotary spindle (4). A filter screen (3) is disposed in an inner cavity of the box body (1) in a direction perpendicular to the box cover (2), and the filter screen (3) divides the box body (1) into a liquid addition cavity (11) and a liquid suction cavity (12).
