摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for transmitting control information in a base station for a wireless communication system. The method includes transmitting, to a terminal, information associated with a number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols carrying control channels; determining a set of control channel candidates based on an IDentifier (ID) of the terminal; selecting at least one control channel candidate from among the set of control channel candidates; and transmitting the control information to the terminal through the selected at least one control channel candidate. Each control channel candidate included in the set of control channel candidates consists of one, two, four, or eight control channel elements (CCEs) existing in the OFDM symbols.

摘要： A method and apparatus for increasing the scheduling performance of a system supporting an uplink data service and total system stability by effectively UE status information to a Node B in a mobile communication system supporting the uplink data service are provided. UE status information including buffer occupancy information and transmit power status information is transmitted to a Node B periodically or upon generation of an event, irrespective of the presence or absence of uplink data to be transmitted. Since the buffer occupancy information and the transmit power status information are transmitted to the Node B by MAC-e signaling, physical channel resources are saved and E-DCH performance is improved.

摘要： An apparatus and method of transmitting scheduling information from a UE to a Node B to request Node B controlled scheduling in an asynchronous CDMA communication system supporting an E-DCH packet data service is provided. The UE generates a MAC-e PDU including only scheduling information representing a buffer status and a power status in relation to uplink data transmission, and transmits the MAC-e PDU on an E-DCH along with TF information indicating the transmission of the MAC-e PDU including the scheduling information. The Node B receives the scheduling information on the E-DCH and schedules uplink data transmission according to the scheduling information.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and an apparatus for multiplexing and transmitting/receiving an ACK/NACK resulting from use of a HARQ scheme in an OFDMA system. Frequency and code multiplexing methods are combined with regard to the ACK/NACK to reduce signaling overhead. Frequency multiplexing is conducted by using the MCS level adopted by scheduling channels to improve the ACK/NACK transmitting performance, and code multiplexing is conducted to allocate ACK/NACK resources by using the index of the scheduling channels.
