摘要： A colored fluorescent display lamp assembly has a lamp housing in which a plurality of discharge chambers are defined. Discharge holes of the respective discharge chambers are disposed in a central area of a bottom wall of the housing. A lamp base, formed by a relatively thin lightweight material, carries therein an electrode common to all of the discharge chambers. The base has an open end sealed to the central area of the lamp housing bottom wall to enclose the discharge holes. The lamp assembly can be thereby minimized in weight and size.

摘要： Apparatus in which a gas such as air, containing nitrogen oxides, is mixed with high temperature steam of 130.degree. to 150.degree.C in a reactor vessel to convert the nitrogen oxides to soluble substances and then dissolve said soluble substances in a liquid absorbent such as warm water or a weak alkaline warm aqueous solution, said liquid absorbent being collected thereafter, so that the nitrogen oxides are separately removed from the gas. The apparatus of the invention has an attainable efficiency of separately removing nitrogen oxides exceeding 95 percent, for gas having the nitrogen oxides content of 100 ppm to 10,000 ppm.

An image processing apparatus according to this invention includes an ophthalmic feature acquisition unit which acquires ophthalmic features as anatomical features of the tomogram, a layer designation unit which designates at least two layers required to detect morbid portions corresponding to a disease of a predetermined type from a plurality of layers specified by the ophthalmic features, a morbid portion acquisition unit which detects morbid portions corresponding to the disease of the predetermined type respectively from the layers designated by the layer designation unit, and a composite display unit which generates a composite image by projecting the morbid portions respectively detected from the layers by the morbid portion acquisition unit onto a predetermined two-dimensional image, and displays the composite image.
