    • The present invention provides a high-accuracy sliding bearing which eliminates the need for treating a gate mark, has a high accuracy, is excellent in its mechanical strength, and is in its productivity. A sintered metal (2) is used as a bearing peripheral part. A resin material is molded at a sliding portion of the bearing peripheral part to form a resin layer (3). In the resin layer (3), a product of a coefficient of linear thermal expansion of the resin material and a thickness of the resin layer is not more than 0.15. The resin layer (3) is molded through tunnel gates. The resin layer comprises a plurality of axial grooves (4A) and (4B) on a bearing sliding surface thereof, and the tunnel gate marks (5) are alternately formed on a bottom of each of the grooves.

    • A belt tension adjusting device has a stationary fulcrum shaft, an arm pivotally supported on the fulcrum shaft through a slide bearing formed of a synthetic resin, a tension pulley mounted on the arm at one end thereof for tensioning a belt, and a damper having a piston rod abutting the arm on the other end thereof. The tension pulley is pressed against the belt by pivoting the arm under the force of the piston rod, thereby adjusting the tension of the belt. The inner peripheral surface of said slide bearing, which is in slide contact with said fulcrum shaft, is formed so as to have a surface roughness RA of not more than 6.3 &mgr;m. The slide bearing is formed of a resin composition comprising 65-85 vol % of a thermoplastic polyimide resin, an aromatic polyether ketone resin or a mixture of the resins, and 15-35 vol % of a tetrafluoroethylene resin.

    • A heat-resistant, lubricative resin composition which is low in friction and wear-resistant, and which is less likely to attack a soft alloy such as aluminum alloy, and a heat-resistant sliding bearing formed from such resin composition. Such heat-resistant, lubricative resin composition, adapted to be brought into sliding contact with a mating member made of an aluminum alloy, may be composed of 35-74% by weight of at least one heat-resistant thermoplastic resin selected from the group consisting of polyphenylene sulfide resins, thermoplastic polyimide resins having predetermined repeating units, polyether ketone resins, polycyanoarylether resins, polyamide-imide resins, polyether imide resins, polyether sulfonic resins, 10-45% by weight of a tetrafluoroethylene resin, and 16-30% by weight of lithium phosphate. Also, the resin composition may be made up of 35-80% by weight of the abovementioned heat-resistant thermoplastic resin, 10-45% by weight of a tetrafluoroethylene resin, 8-30% by weight of lithium phosphate, and 2-20% by weight of aromatic polyamide fiber. A heat-resistant sliding bearing may be formed from either of the above resin compositions.
