    • Environmental friendliness and biodegradability are important considerations of disposable materials, be it packaging or paper, in order to minimize environmental damage. The present invention relates to a method of producing environmental friendly and biodegradable products using mechanically processed agricultural fibres and rightly formulated adhesive. In particular, mechanical treatment takes place in a pressure vessel under hydrothermal conditions using superheated steam. Treated agricultural fibres are mixed with stoichemtric amount of adhesive, through vigorous agitation, a well furnished agricultural fibre slurry is obtained and ready to be fed into manufacturing process to produce, in this invention, moulded shape bodies and paper liners. Unlike synthetic resin, the said adhesive formulation is biodegradable and made of natural renewable resources. The said adhesive has self-retention property. The agricultural fibre slurry can be easily made into moulded products and paper liners using commonly available processes.

    • Methods and apparatus for interactive built-in self-testing with user-programmable test patterns are disclosed. The present invention operates in the context of an integrated circuit (IC) including built-in self-test (BIST) logic and a test interface circuit resident on the IC. The BIST logic executes a BIST routine for testing the IC, and the test interface achieves the inputting of an external test pattern into the BIST logic from an external logic circuit. The test interface includes a first flag storage element accessible to the BIST logic. The first flag storage element stores a first flag that indicates whether the test pattern will be provided to the IC from the external logic. A test data storage element in the test interface stores the external test pattern, and is also accessible to the BIST logic. A second flag storage element accessible to the BIST logic stores a second flag to indicate whether the test pattern is available in the test data storage element. Test control logic receives a first instruction from the external logic, and executes the first instruction to set the first flag. The test control logic reads the test pattern and sets the second flag after the test pattern is stored in the test data storage element. If the first flag is not set, the BIST logic executes the BIST routine using a test pattern internally generated on the IC. On the other hand, if the first flag is set, then the BIST logic executes the BIST routine using the test patterns stored in the test data storage element.

    • A power switch circuit providing voltage to an output port is provided. The switch circuit includes a single power supply, a switch unit, a controlling unit, and a logic unit. The switch unit is connected between the single power supply and an output port and capable of being turned on and off alternatively for continuing or discontinuing power from the single power supply to the output port; the single power supply provides power to the output port. The controlling unit is configured for generating a voltage controlling signal and transmitting the voltage controlling signal to the logic unit. The logic unit receives and inverts the voltage controlling signal, and outputs the inverted voltage controlling signal to turn on or turn off the switch unit.
