摘要： The present invention relates to a high surface hardness transparent resin having excellent scratch resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance, a glazing material, a protective cover for display devices, an optical lens and a hard coat material comprising the aforesaid resin, and a novel polymerizable monomer which is useful as a raw material of the above-mentioned resin.The monomer is represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## (wherein R is an aliphatic residue having or not having an halogen atom, an oxygen atom, an alicyclic ring, a heterocyclic ring or an aromatic ring, an alicyclic residue, or a heterocyclic residue, n is an integer of 1 to 4, when n=1, X is oxygen or sulfur, when n.gtoreq.2, X's are all oxygen or all sulfur, one X is oxygen while the other X or X's are sulfur, one X is sulfur while the other X or X's are oxygen, or two X's are oxygen while the other X's are sulfur).The aforesaid high surface hardness transparent resin comprises a crosslinked polymer prepared by copolymerizing a monomer (A) represented by the formula (I) and a monomer (B) having, in one molecule, m functional groups of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of CH.sub.2 .dbd.CH--C(O)--O--, CH.sub.2 .dbd.C(CH.sub.3)--C(O)--O-- and ##STR2## where (n+m) is an integer of 3 or more.

摘要： In a magnetic recording disk of a double-sided recording type according to a perpendicular magnetic recording technique of the invention, recording layers having different film thicknesses are formed on two surfaces of a base layer. The film thickness of one magnetic recording layer is set to be larger than the film thickness of the other magnetic recording layer. Thus, a curl phenomenon can be prevented. In addition, a coercive force of the thicker recording layer is set to be higher than that of the thinner recording layer. A difference in a perpendicular recording density between the two recording layers due to a difference in the film thickness thereof can be compensated for.

摘要： Disclosed herein is an emulsifying agent comprising (a) a partially or completely neutralized product, with a basic substance, of a phosphoric acid ester which contains a phosphoric acid monoester represented by the general formula (I) and a phosphoric acid diester represented by the general formula (II) from 100:0 to 70:30 molar ratio: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 represent individually a linear alkyl group or a linear alkenyl group of 10-22 carbon atoms or a branched alkyl group of 12-24 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 represent individually an ethylene group or a propylene group, and m and n represent individually a number of 0-30, and (b) a nonionic surfactant with HLB of 6 or less. Emulsified cosmetics comprising (a) the neutralized product of the phosphoric acid ester, (b) a nonionic surfactant with HLB of 6 or less, (c) an oily substrate, and (d) water is also disclosed. The above emulsifying agent is weakly acidic or neutral in nature and also stable against aging degradation, it provides weakly acidic or neutral emulsified cosmetics stable at a broad pH range and confortable to skin.
