    • Systems and methods that may determine whether to provide a resource to a consumer are disclosed. Further methods may allow distributing resources on an expedited basis or recheck previous determinations to provide a resource. In certain embodiment, resource transactions may be categorized. Illustrative categories may be organized by: investment, a non-investment expenditure, or income. In one embodiment, transactions categorized as non-investment expenditures may be categorized into subcategories, including necessities, discretionary, or debt. Calculations may be performed upon the categorized (and/or sub-categorized data). For example, one or more of the following ratios may be calculated: debt-to-income, investment-to-income, and expenditure-to-income. Ratios may be compared to one or more threshold values. Determinations of the threshold may consider information regarding other individuals' or business' resource transactions.

    • A thermosiphon cooling assembly cools an electronic device with a conical condensing tube disposed about a curved central axis curving upwardly from a top of the evaporating unit to an upper distal end and a shroud disposed outward of an exterior surface of the condensing tube at the upper distal end extending axially along the central axis from the upper distal end to a lower edge spaced from the top defining an air opening. An air moving device moves air about the central axis within the shroud to the air opening. A plurality of condensing fins are disposed in the condensing tube and each condensing fin forms a pair of corners with an interior surface of the condensing tube and a wick material is disposed in each of the corners to return condensed vapor to the evaporating unit.

    • A battery pack assembly comprising a plurality of battery packs each including a plurality of cells and a plurality of blocking pieces. Each battery pack defines an air path therethrough and each of the air paths includes an air inlet chamber extending the length of the respective battery pack for supplying air. Each air path is defined on one side by the cylindrical walls of the cells. Each of the cells has an exposed portion being the portion of the respective cell adjacent and exposed to said air inlet chamber. The blocking pieces are disposed in the air inlet chamber. Each blocking piece extends longitudinally along the length of one of the cells and each blocking piece is associated with one of the cells. Each of the blocking pieces reduces the size of the exposed portion of the respective cell to meter the flow of air around the respective cell.

    • A heat sink removes heat from an electronic device and comprises a base, a lid. An inner ring of first fins extend radially outwardly first length from an inner circle and extend axially a first height from the top surface of the base, and an outer ring of second fins extend radially inwardly a second length from an outer periphery and extend axially a second height from the top surface of the base. A nozzle having a throat is disposed above the lid and extends below the lid to the confining plate.
