    • A branch line branching from midway of a hydraulic conduit or each of actuator side oil passages to connect a bottom side oil chamber of a hoist cylinder to a tank is provided to the hydraulic conduit or each of the actuator side oil passages. A manual operation valve for variably adjusting the flow rate in accordance with the operation of a lever handle is provided in the branch line. Maintenance work is performed with an engine stopped in this state. Subsequently, when a vessel is lowered onto a vehicle body, hydraulic oil can be discharged through the branch line from the bottom side oil chamber of the hoist cylinder to the tank by opening the manual operation valve, so that the hoist cylinder can be automatically contracted.

    • A motor controlling device for mounting on a vehicle, which includes a controller capable of controlling a DC brushless motor at high response and high accuracy. The motor controlling device for mounting on the vehicle to drive the DC brushless motor comprises a main control section (120) for calculating a torque command for the motor, and a current control calculation section (140) constituted by a module or a dedicated LSI independent of the main control section (120). The current control calculation section (140) converts the coordinates of a current of the DC brushless motor into a d-axis direction, i.e., a direction of magnetic flux of a motor rotor, and into a q-axis direction orthogonal to the d-axis direction, and feedback-controls a current in the d-axis direction and a current in the q-axis direction separately.

    • As a boosting-type motor driving device using no reactor, a motor driving device capable of controlling boosting operation and motor driving at the same time is provided, and an automobile using the motor driving device is also provided. The motor driving device is used for driving a motor with a double-winding structure having a first set of three-phase windings and a second set of three-phase winding which are wound over a stator, and includes first and second inverters, which are connected respectively to the first set of three-phase windings and the second set of three-phase windings, thereby controlling the first and second inverters to control a driving force of the motor with the double-winding structure. The first and second inverters have positive and negative terminals which are connected respectively in common to a high-voltage battery. The motor driving device further includes a first switch unit connected between the positive terminals of the first and second inverters connected in common and a positive pole of the high-voltage battery, and a second switch unit connected between a neutral point of the second set of three-phase windings and the positive pole of the high-voltage battery.
