摘要： A cover for covering a car or luggage on top of a car is described. The cover is made of a stretchy material such that it can expand to tightly fit the size and shape of a large variety of items or vehicles. Thus, the material composition as well as cover layers are crucial in obtaining the optimal balance of flexibility and protection. In many embodiments securing mechanisms are provided around the base of the cover as well as over the top of the cover to aid in securing the cover over the items or vehicle. In some embodiments a lower cover is provided which sits under items on top of a vehicle and protects the roof of the vehicle from the items.

摘要： A combination sash lock and tilt latch secures a sash window that is slidable and tiltable with respect to a master window frame. The fastener includes a lock assembly and latch assembly. The lock assembly is releasably mounted upon the sash window meeting rail without screws, using legs received within corresponding openings in the rail. The lock assembly is releasably secured thereto by a spring causing engagement between the legs and rail openings. The lock assembly includes a pivotable cam to releasably engage a keeper on the master frame, and a pivotable arm extending into the meeting rail. The latch assembly includes biasing means and a latch member with a plurality of openings, each configured to receive the post of the lock assembly, within the meeting rail, with the lock assembly installed thereon in any one of a plurality of positions corresponding to said openings in said latch member.

摘要： Techniques are disclosed for representing a user quality of experience (QoE) experienced by users of a streaming media service using a single QoE metric. The single QoE metric may be determined based on a set of empirical characteristics relating to the streaming video service such as startup latency, video quality, and the likelihood of interruptions in streaming playback. The empirical characteristics may be weighted according to how much one factor influences user quality of experience, relative to the others. Representing the QoE as a single metric may allow a streaming media service provider to improve key business measures such as subscriber retention and engagement.

The fastener includes a lock assembly and latch assembly. The lock assembly is secured thereto by a biasing member causing engagement between the legs and rail openings. 摘要： A door travel limiting device includes a housing, a stop member, a compression spring, and a flexible member. The stop member is slidably received by the housing, and is slidable in first and second sliding directions, and has first and second ends respectively extending outwardly from different portions of the housing. The stop member is biased to slide in the first sliding direction, causing a portion proximate to its second end to normally retract into the housing. Extreme sliding positions of the stop member are limited by protrusions. A flexible member protrudes from the stop member to selectively engage portions of a housing track, to retain the second end of the stop member at an intermediate position between its first and second positions, when the stop member is first actuated to slide from the first position to the second position, and is then no longer actuated but biased.

摘要： A sash lock comprises a housing, latch member, activator arm, and trigger. The latch member is spring biased to slide from an unlocked position towards a locked position. The activator arm and trigger are pivotally mounted within the housing, with a torsion spring biasing the trigger relative to the activator arm, to cause the activator arm to pivot and contact the latch member. When the latch member is moved to the unlocked position, the biased activator arm engages the latch member to retain it in the unlocked position, while the biased trigger member pivots to have a portion protrude out of the housing. Upon closing the sash member, an angled surface of a keeper contacts a curved surface of the protruding trigger to cause it to counter-rotate and drive the activator arm to disengage from the latch member and automatically permit biasing of the latch member into the locked position.

This housing includes a cavity with a bottom plate therein. The tumbler has at least one pivot for pivotally securing the tumbler to the housing for movement between an extended position, to prevent movement of the sliding member and a retracted position, to allow movement of the sliding member. Also within the housing is a spring for biasing the tumbler. The housing has one or more flexible members extending from the end walls of the housing that secure the housing to an opening in a window sash when a portion of the window sash is positioned between the underside of a lip on said housing and the flexible member.

The method includes entering specified owner personal information in an owner terminal, by an owner, to establish a secure owner profile, which is stored in an owner database. The method further includes entering a user request in the user terminal requesting permission to receive a designated piece of the owner personal information from the secure owner profile. A server determines whether to approve the user request; and provides permission to use the designated piece of the owner personal information to the user over the communication network after the user request is approved by the server.

摘要： The present invention is a display light box comprising several compartments with partitioning walls shaped according to a translucent image on a frontal display panel. The compartments are illuminated by LEDs, which are installed a distance away from the picture panel to accomplish uniformity of the light on the panel, and driven by a controller so the LEDs may be turned on and off in any pre-determined sequence, accomplishing a changing presentation and thereby making the light box more attractive. The intensity of each compartment may be designed to be different, by the number of LEDs installed in the compartment or by the number of LEDs turned on at any given moment.
