In an apparatus for quantizing conversion data resulted from converting image information into frequency regions and then coding the quantized data, a coefficient to be multiplied by a chrominance quantizing matrix is set depending on a coefficient to be multiplied by a luminance quantizing matrix for an improvement in color reproducibility.

摘要： An image information transmission apparatus of this invention encodes and transmits image information. An image information signal of one frame consisting of a plurality of pixel data is divided into a plurality of blocks each consisting of a predetermined number of pixel data. At least two reference value data associated with a dynamic range of levels of the pixel data constituting each of the divided blocks, and distribution state data associated with a distribution state thereof are formed. Each pixel data constituting the block is encoded on the basis of the formed reference value data and the formed distribution state data to obtain encoded data. A transmission data series is formed and transmitted using the formed reference value data, the formed distribution state data, and the encoded data as transmission units. Therefore, the image information signal can be highly effectively transmitted with minimum image quality degradation caused by encoding.

摘要： This invention relates to the novel selenium compounds which are useful as an antineoplastic agent. 摘要： A washing device for parts of human body being such as anus or private part of female is disclosed. Such washing device is substantially characterized in that the heated-water supply source and the cold-water supply source which are connected with a heated-and-cold-water mixing valve respectively are both installed outside of a toilet chamber or a bathroom and a mixed-water ejecting nozzle is connected to a downstream end of a mixed-water supply passage which has an upper end thereof connected to an outlet opening of the heated-and-cold-water mixing valve. Due to such construction, the washing deivce can extremely improve the heating efficiency so as to enable the considerable energy saving and can unnecessitate the installation of the heat exchangers in the washing device so as to make full use of a narrow space of a toilet chamber or a bathroom.
