摘要： A beam position control apparatus in which a light beam is led into a light detector from a light generating source through a movable reflector and positioning of the light beam is performed by a servo control circuit for feeding a signal from the light detector back to the movable reflector, comprises: an oscillator for oscillating in response to an initializing signal and moving the movable reflector to move the beam onto the light detector; and a control switch for separating the oscillator and the movable reflector from each other in response to the signal from the light detector, the oscillator and the control switch being arranged in the servo control circuit.

摘要： An optical scanning apparatus has a scanning lens with a rotationally asymmetric aspheric surface having individual curvature radii in the main scanning direction and in the sub-scanning direction. The curvature radius in the sub-scanning direction is asymmetrically increased in the lateral direction with the distance from the optical axis. A field curvature aberration which may be generated in the sub-scanning direction on the scanning surface due to an oblique incident of optical beams on the rotating polygonal mirror or the movement of the reflective surface caused by rotation of the rotating polygonal mirror is compensated for by the scanning lens and the focusing properties of the system can be kept at a level of high resolving power.

摘要： A spraying method wherein the distance between a spray apparatus and an article is measured by a distance measuring means provided on the spray apparatus, and a spraying condition in which a substance is sprayed is varied in accordance with the measured distance. Also disclosed is a spray apparatus which is suitable for carrying out the above-described method. The apparatus has a supply passage for a substance which is to be sprayed, a nozzle for jetting out the spray substance, and a control valve means provided within the supply passage and adapted to control the flow rate of the spray substance flowing out through the nozzle. A distance measuring means is provided integral with the spray apparatus in one unit, the means being adapted to measure the distance between the spray apparatus and an article and output a signal corresponding to the measured distance. The degree of opening of the control valve means is determined on the basis of the signal output from the distance measuring means.

摘要： In a laser printer wherein a photoconductive drum is scanned by utilizing a plurality of laser beams, there are detected spacings between the plural laser beams, such detection being confined to a blanking time. On the basis of the detected results, the spacings between the plural laser beams are controlled; and this state is maintained for a printing time. With this arrangement, it is possible to accurately detect the spacings between the plural laser beams thereby to obtain the practicable laser printer employing the plural laser beams.
