摘要： A dispenser includes a housing and a push bar movable between a rest position and an actuated position. A container is retained in the housing and holds a liquid, and a pump is associated with a liquid. The pump is actuated to dispense a dose of the liquid, when the push bar is moved from its rest position to its actuated position. A dispensing tube includes an inlet associated with the pump, an outlet associated with the push bar, and a bellows portion between the inlet and the outlet. Upon moving the push bar from its rest position to its actuated position, the bellows portion is collapsed from an expanded volume to a compressed volume, and the outlet of the dispensing tube moves with the push bar. Upon return of the push bar from the actuated position to the rest position, the bellows portion expands from the compressed volume to the expanded volume, and draws liquid at the tip of the dispensing tube into the dispensing tube to reduce or eliminate dripping.

摘要： A container holder assembly for removably receiving a product dispensing container having a flexible nozzle spout includes a wall-mounting back plate having a longitudinal axis and a container holder for receipt of the dispensing container hingedly attached to the back plate. The container holder has a through central bore for receipt of the dispensing container and the longitudinal axis of that bore is disposed at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the back plate so that the container, when inserted, is disposed at an angle with regard to that axis and with regard to any vertical surface supporting the back plate. The product dispensing container is inserted into the container holder in an inverted condition so that the flexible nozzle projects below the container holder whereby, when the container holder is moved toward the back plate, the nozzle will contact a portion of the back plate and be deflected to dispense product. The back plate is essentially L-shaped in elevation and has a notch on its extending lower leg so that the nozzle is received within that notch and contacts the surface thereof to cause the deflection.

摘要： A dispenser use monitor provides a housing configured to be removably attached to a portable dispenser, such as a soap dispenser. The housing includes a controller that stores one or more reference ID codes that match the tag ID codes associated with each of one or more data tags. The data tags are used to identify predetermined areas in which the portable dispenser is to be used. Thus, as the use monitor is brought into proximity with each data tag, indicating that the portable dispenser has been used in the associated area, the use monitor validates the reference ID codes if it matches the tag ID code of the particular data tag. In addition, an indicator displays the remaining number of reference ID codes that have not been validated, thereby providing a reminder to the user of the portable dispenser of the progress of their job completion.

In one exemplary embodiment, the dispenser includes a sensor for sensing the presence of one or more hands, a controller is in circuit communication with the sensor. A container for holding an oxidizer is also included as well as a pump for pumping the oxidizer out of the container. The dispenser includes logic for controlling the pump and an outlet for dispensing the oxidizer. Upon detection of one or more hands, the logic causes the pump to dispense the oxidizer over a period of time that is greater than 20 seconds.

An exemplary refill unit includes a container, a pump connected to the container, and an outlet passage. The outlet passage includes a first cylindrical portion and a second portion. The diameter of the second portion is larger than the diameter of the first cylindrical portion. An inline suck-back valve is located in the in the outlet passage. The inline-suck-back valve moves within the first cylindrical portion and the second portion of the outlet passage. Movement of the inline suck-back valve in a first direction while the inline suck-back valve is located within the first cylindrical portion causes fluid in the outlet passage to be drawn back into the outlet passage.

Some exemplary refill units for dispensers include a container for holding a liquid and a post seal pump. As the post seal pump operates, a piston moves up and down over the pump seal. When the piston shaft is in a first position, fluid flows into the pump chamber and one or more apertures through the piston shaft are sealed off by the post seal. When the piston shaft is in a second position, the piston engages a wall of the pump chamber and the one or more apertures are away from the post seal to provide a fluid path from the pump chamber to the interior of the hollow piston shaft and is dispensed through an output.
