摘要： A social network model, based on data relevant to a user, is used for semantic processing to enable improved entity recognition among text accessed by the user. An entity extraction module of the server, with reference to a general training corpus, general gazetteers, user-specific gazetteers, and entity models, parses text to identify entities. The entities may be, for example, people, organizations, or locations. A social network module of the server builds the social network model implicit in the data accessed by the user. The social network model includes the relationships between entities and an indication of the strength of each relationship. The social network module is also used to disambiguate names and unify entities based on the social network model.

摘要： There are provided a semiconductor device which can be miniaturized without being deteriorated in characteristics, and a manufacturing method thereof. The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor substrate having a main surface, a source region and a drain region formed apart from each other in the main surface, a gate electrode layer formed over the main surface sandwiched between the source region and the drain region, a first conductive layer formed so as to be in contact with the surface of the source region, and a second conductive layer formed so as to be in contact with the surface of the drain region. A recess is formed in the main surface so as to extend from the contact region between the first conductive layer and the source region through a part underlying the gate electrode layer to the contact region between the second conductive layer and the drain region.

摘要： To provide a viewing-angle-enhancing film which is set in a liquid crystal display device at a position nearer to an observer than the position of a liquid crystal layer in the device, and which attains, at a high level, the compatibility of being enhanced in viewing angle with a decrease in the darkening of images at the time of observing the screen from the front thereof. A viewing-angle-enhancing film which is set in a liquid crystal display device at a position nearer to an observer than the position of a liquid crystal layer in the device, and simultaneously satisfies the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the film has a parallel ray transmittance of 5 to 90%; (2) the film has a diffusivity (A) of 1 to 20 degrees in its main diffusion direction; and (3) the film has a diffusivity ratio of 0.25 to 15% in the main diffusion direction.

The priority determination may include detecting the presence of a request in the electronic message, determining the social weight of the sender of the electronic message, determining the temporal urgency of the electronic message, or determining the relevance of the electronic message, for example. An indication of the priority of the message is presented to the recipient user.

摘要： A manufacturing method of a semiconductor device is provided for improving the reliability of a semiconductor device including a MISFET with a high dielectric constant gate insulator and a metal gate electrode. A first Hf-containing insulating film containing Hf, La, and O as a principal component is formed as a high dielectric constant gate insulator for an n-channel MISFET. A second Hf-containing insulating film containing Hf, Al, and O as a principal component is formed as a high dielectric constant gate insulator for a p-channel MISFET. Then, a metal film and a silicon film are formed and patterned by dry etching to thereby form first and second gate electrodes. Thereafter, parts of the first and second Hf-containing insulating films not covered with the first and second gate electrodes are removed by wet etching. At this time, a wet process with an acid solution not containing hydrofluoric acid, and another wet process with an alkaline solution are performed, and then a further wet process with an acid solution containing hydrofluoric acid is performed.

Near duplicate messages in the message store are identified. Each message having a compound digest not matching the compound digest of any other message is marked as unique and each message having a compound digest matching the compound digest of at least one other message is marked as an exact duplicate. Messages remaining unmarked and having similar content are grouped into sets that each includes one or more near duplicate messages. One of the near duplicate messages is designated as unique and each remaining near duplicate message in the set is designated as a near duplicate.
