摘要： To provide a connector that includes a locking section having a high strength, and is excellent in shielding performance. Contacts are held by a housing including a receiving space into which is inserted FPC. An actuator is mounted in the housing in a manner pivotally movable between open position for inserting FPC into the space, and closed position for holding FPC therein. The housing is covered with a shield plate. The shield plate includes a contact portion for contact with a ground line of FPC, a terminal portion for contact with a printed circuit board, and a seesaw-type locking section for preventing FPC from being removed. A nail portion is formed at one end of the locking section, for engagement with FPC, and a power point portion on which a pivotal force of the actuator acts is formed at the other end. The actuator is provided with a third cam portion which is operable when the actuator is in closed position, to move the power point portion such that the nail portion comes closer to FPC.

摘要： In a cable connector (1) in which a core wire (81a, 81c) of a cable (81) is pressed against a base contact (3) in a predetermined direction (a) intersecting the core wire, a support contact (5) is cooperated with the base contact to clamp the core wire therebetween in the predetermined direction. The base contact is coupled to a base insulator (2). The support contact is coupled to a cover insulator (4) movable against the base insulator in the predetermined direction. A partition wall (42) is formed integral with the cover insulator and positions the core wire to make the core wire face the base contact. When the cover insulator is moved towards the base insulator, the core wire becomes in press contact with the base contact.

摘要： A card connector which permits insertion of a card from a side of an insulator thereof is provided. A protruded portion is formed on the bottom of a rear end of a slider movably accommodated with a hollow insulator. When the slider is moved in the direction of insertion of a card (miniature card) to bring a recessed terminal array portion of the card to a position exactly above a protruded terminal array portion of a circuit board, the protruded portion is caused to drop into a recess formed in a bottom wall of the hollow insulator to thereby incline the slider with respect to the direction of insertion of the card to fit the recessed terminal array portion of the miniature card on the protruded terminal array portion of the circuit board. The slider is urged against the bottom wall of the hollow insulator by a spring, and urged toward an insertion opening of the hollow insulator by another spring. An ejector button is arranged in the hollow insulator for returning the card to a level position.

摘要： An electrical connector for a printed circuit board has an insulator base portion with a block at both of its ends. Electroconductive contacts supported by the base portion have a terminal to be connected to a pad on the circuit board. Each block has a guide projection to be inserted into a guide hole on the circuit board. A first elastic portion locks into a hole in the circuit board. The base portion has a second elastic portion for engagement with the circuit board. The top ends of the first and the second elastic engagement portions have the first and the second hook portions, respectively. The first and the second hook portions are elastically restored to engage the first and the second hook portions with the second surface of the circuit board. Alternatively, the electrical connector has a pair of second elastic engagement portions respectively extending to a level which is lower than the bottom of surface of the base portion.

When the plugs are inserted into the receptacle, the contacts and the cylindrical member contact with each other and the ferrules are inserted into the sleeves. Parts which serve electrical connection are not exposed.
