    • The present invention provides a radio base station apparatus and a mobile terminal apparatus that can realize efficient reception control when a plurality of mobile communication systems coexist. The radio base station apparatus allocates a control signal of the mobile communication system having a relatively wide system band composed of component carriers to at least two component carriers in a decoding unit composed of a plurality of data blocks, the mobile terminal apparatus corresponding to the mobile communication system receives the control signal, the mobile terminal apparatus demodulates the control signal in a decoding unit composed of a plurality of data blocks and determines whether or not the control signal is directed to the mobile terminal apparatus.

    • To provide a radio base station apparatus and mobile terminal supporting each of a plurality of mobile communication systems when the plurality of mobile communication systems coexists, the radio base station apparatus assigns a modulated signal of a control signal to at least one frequency band with the system band of the LTE system as a unit on a predetermined data block basis (CCE basis) according to a predetermined rule, and when data blocks are assigned according to the rule as shown in FIG. 4(a), the mobile terminal demodulates CCEs of the same number in respective frequency bands at a time and thereby determines whether or not the signal is the control signal to the mobile terminal. Meanwhile, when data blocks are assigned according to the rules as shown in FIGS. 4(b) and 4(c), the mobile terminal demodulates a specific CCE block range in each frequency band, and thereby determines whether or not the signal is the control signal to the mobile terminal.

    • A base station apparatus is used in a region in which a first system and a second system co-exist. In the first system, mobile communication is conducted using a variable system bandwidth not more than a basic bandwidth. In the second system, mobile communication is conducted using a variable system bandwidth which is not more than a bandwidth of an advanced system band which is at least as wide as multiple of the basic bandwidths. The base station apparatus generates a control signal for the first system and a control signal for the second system, orthogonally multiplexes them, and includes the same in a downlink signal to transmit the downlink signal. The advanced system band is divided such that it includes multiple of areas (P, Q, R, S) of the basic bandwidth. The control signal for the first system is included in one of the areas (Q). The control signal for the second system is included in at least one of the areas (P, Q, R, S).
