    • The present invention relates to a method for searching for an enhanced physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH), and devices supporting same. The method for searching for an E-PDCCH in a wireless access system, in one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: blind decoding a control channel area and searching for a legacy PDCCH; obtaining allocation location information of the E-PDCCH using one or more of initiation location information, completion location information, and size information on the allocation area of the legacy PDCCH; and searching for the E-PDCCH using the allocation location information of the E-PDCCH, wherein the E-PDCCH being allocated to a data channel area is more desirable than being allocated to the control channel area.

    • The present invention discloses various methods and devices for transmitting uplink control information in a wireless access system which supports a carrier aggregation environment (i.e., multiple cell environment). The method for transmitting the uplink control information (UCI) in the wireless access system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the following steps: a user equipment receiving information on at least one cell, which is allocated from the multiple cell environment; the user equipment producing representative rank indicator (RI) information on the at least one cell; the user equipment performing channel encoding on the UCI including the representative RI information and uplink data; and the user equipment transmitting an physical uplink shared channel signal including the UCI, which includes the representative RI information.

    • The present invention relates to a method for transmitting uplink control information in a wireless access system and a terminal for the same. More particularly, the method comprises the following steps: attaching, if the bit size of uplink control information is larger than a preset number, cyclic redundancy check to the uplink control information; calculating the number of wireless resource elements for transmitting the uplink control information to which the CRC is attached; coding the uplink control information to which the CRC is attached, using a tail biting convolutional coding (TBCC) technique, based upon the calculated number of the wireless resource elements; and transmitting a physical uplink shared channel signal containing the coded uplink control information to a base station, wherein the uplink control information is either hybrid automatic repeat and request acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK/NACK) information or rank indication (RI) information.
