摘要： The present invention relates to a phosphor and a luminous element using the same. The present invention provides a phosphor for absorbing a portion of light emitted from a light source and emitting light with a wavelength different from that of the absorbed light. The phosphor comprises a fluorescent material having an alkaline earth metal-germanium metal-sulfur structure that contains Ge and at least one element selected from the group consisting of Sr and Ca and is activated by Eu. The phosphor of the present invention increases a color rendering index (CRI) of a white luminous element for a general lighting apparatus, and a luminous element using the phosphor has an advantage in that it is suitable for a white luminous element backlight which can substitute for a cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) in medium and large-sized TVs and has higher color reproducibility and higher white uniformity.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus and method for ranging in a broadband wireless communication system. In a method for communication of a base station, a received signal and ranging codes are correlated to detect codes. Feedback information for the detected codes is generated, and a ranging feedback message including the generated feedback information is generated. The ranging feedback message is physical-layer-encoded and the resulting data are broadcast. The base station combines and broadcasts data region allocation information and control information for ranging codes received from a plurality of mobile stations. Therefore, resources can be saved and a signalling process can be simplified.

The input stage generates differential currents in response to a voltage difference between differential input signals. The output stage generates an output signal at an output node. The control unit is coupled between the input stage and the output stage and includes a floating current source comprised of a cascode load for biasing the output stage with a quiescent current. Such a cascode load increases DC gain of the differential amplifier.

摘要： In a method of forming a contact in a semiconductor device, an insulating layer is formed on the semiconductor substrate. Then, a contact hole is formed by selectively etching the insulating layer. A barrier metal layer is deposited on side and bottom surfaces of the contact hole and on a top surface of the insulating layer to a uniform thickness. A wetting layer of an oxidation-resistive metal material is deposited on the barrier metal layer. A metal layer is formed on the wetting layer and fills the contact hole to thereby form a contact in the semiconductor device.
