摘要： Provided are a polarizing plate having excellent optical characteristics, and a method for manufacturing the polarizing plate. The present invention is provided with: a translucent substrate through which light passes in a working band; a bundle structure layer constituted of a columnar sheaf comprising one or more material from among dielectrics, metals, and semiconductors, the bundle structure layer being formed on the translucent substrate; an absorption layer formed on the bundle structure layer; a dielectric layer formed on the absorption layer; and a reflection layer formed on the dielectric layer and arranged as a one-dimensional lattice at a pitch that is smaller than the wavelength of the light in the working band. Because the bundle structure layer increases light absorption and light scattering, the result is that reflectivity can be reduced and excellent optical characteristics obtained.

The method includes a precuring step of forming a photocuring precured resin layer on a surface of the first member or the second member, the photocuring precured resin layer having a thin film on a side to be bonded with the second member or the first member, a bonding step of bonding the first member and the second member via the precured resin layer, and a final curing step of final-curing the precured resin layer to form a light transmitting resin layer. It is thereby possible to reduce the elastic modulus of the precured resin layer, suppress protrusion during bonding, and improve bonding properties.

In the particle diameter distribution graph (X-axis: particle diameter (μm), Y-axis: number of particles) of the conductive particles held in the opening parts, the shape of the graph is such that the slope is substantially infinite in a range at or above a maximum peak particle diameter.
